Food - Good (not spicy) Cost - average Location - Nice Service - Slow The restaurant is clean and there is ample parking space. The salad and bread were very good along with awesome desert. The late lunch concluded with tea and a smile.

This place is one of best Turkish food in town… the place is low key, but very charming. It has indoors and outdoors dinning. They have limited space outside, but inside the fit about 20 tables, for parties of 4. The have a good deal for lunches, see picture. The food was very tasty, fresh and authentic. Service is bilingual (English and Turkish), and attentive. The service was very fast. Bathrooms were gendered and clean. You should certainty safe space for the dessert and tea!

Let me start by saying I've never had Turkish food. I went into this experience not knowing what to expect or even if I would like the food. Let me add to that that I was highly pleased with the food and the staff. I had. What simply label is okra but it was more like jambalaya. If you're familiar with that, absolutely delicious. Service was a little slow but since all the food seemed to be prepared fresh that was not an issue. If you've never had Turkish food, I would highly recommend it . For those of you who have had Turkish food, I think you would find this very pleasing. Very good. Very well priced. Very highly recommend.

Nice first experience in this Turkish restaurant. The room is big with a lots of natural light. Very large choice of dishes (like 7 pages). The service was nice and the flavor of the food was great….especially the hummus and the milk pudding…delicious.

Hubs and I rarely in the Memorial area. Wanted to find a restaurant that served Doner Kebabs. This restaurant popped up on a search with good ratings. First let me say the service was wonderful. Every server was checking on each customer without being intrusive. The fresh bread served as an appetizer was amazing. Our meal was so good. Hubs had chicken Kebab and I had lamb both dishes served over rice. Then I had the best ever baklava! We will be trying again. Can't stop thinking about how good it was...especially the baklava! And the bread! And the Kebabs!

This is without a doubt the BEST Turkish Restaurant in Houston. I was recommended to visit this place by my co-worker from Azerbaijan after asking him "What is the best Turkish Restaurant in Houston". The food is outstanding, the menu has items that are not found at almost all other Turkish Restaurants, the service is kind, and the location is safe. I recommend ordering a secret dessert item called "The Kunafa Dessert". It is a rare and unique Cheesecake (more than just a Cheesecake) that is not on their dessert menu...just make sure you order it at the same time you order your main course since it takes 20+ minutes for them to prepare this unique dessert. Finally, if you will be having dinner here, aim to arrive between 5:30 PM and 7:00 PM. The large crowds tend to arrive after 7:00 PM.

We tried all their appetizers and paired it with wine. They were all very delicious, we ordered cheese rolls, grape leaves, hummus, falafel, French fries!! They served us fresh bread with Oliver and zaatar at the beginning! They also have the best kanafi so far!! I have tried in many middle eastern restaurants but this place by far serves the most amazing kanafi! Sitting inside to dine in was very pleasant. The server was very helpful as well!

Wow, talk about authentic Turkish cuisine... Empire knows how to do it right! I've been here many times, but it's been a while since our last visit. We stopped for the lunch special which is a killer deal!! $12.95 for a Soup/Salad and an Entree. Plenty of food! This dish left me pleasantly satisfied. I ordered the Green Salad (with added Feta!) to start. I'll admit, I really don't care much for cucumbers or red onions - very strong flavors IMO. However, the flavors of all of ingredients were so refreshing and absolutely delicious. My wife was looking at me funny because she knows I don't like either of those. That's how you know it was good. All ingredients of this salad were equally chopped, so every bite allowed for a perfect mixture of flavors I also ordered the Adana Kebab. Holy smokes. This was beautifully laid on top of a bed of fluffy rice pilaf. The juices from the kabob mixed in with the rice, and boy was that a combo. The kabob was so tender, packed with flavor and had such a nice char that was kissed by the fire. Honestly, I didnt leave a single grain of rice left on the plate, it was that good. The accoutrement that was paired with the dish went together perfectly. The cabbage, the grilled peppers and tomatoes... Yum! Also ordered a tea. Smooth and refreshing. Whenever we're in the area, we try to stop at Empire. This place does not disappoint. Fair prices, quality food and such a nice environment. Check this place out!

There is a very polite receptionist lady. It helped a lot. Food was good and delicious. It was a little busy since it was Ramadan. There may have been a bit of inexperience when opening a table. This was also normal. I ate lamb and doner combo, it was very satisfying and delicious. Lentil soup was also good. Zahter and bread were also good offer. They brought dates to the next table but forgot about me. But no worries, it was a very nice welcome and goodbye. I will come again..

This Turkish Restaurant is elegant and has delicious food that is authentic. This was our first visit here, and the Staff is wonderful. Prices are fairly good for the amount of food we have. Daughter tried lamb kababs, I tried Filet mignon that was tender, spiced perfectly, and absolutely delicious. My wife had yogurt soup. All was great.

This restaurant truly makes you feel like you are in Turkey. I had the veggie kabob, my S.O. had the adna kabob, and we each had a glass of red wine. Everything was absolutely delicious!!! We went during Ramadan and it was so nice to see everyone come out after sunset in big groups feasting and laughing together.

This restaurant was truly more than I expected. The exterior blends in with the other businesses in the other businesses. The only difference are the few tables and chairs outside. The interior was very quaint. The service was exemplary. There were several different people that checked in on our table from filling our water glasses to offering recommendations. We ordered the mixed grill for two (lamb, chicken, filet mignon, and what looked like gyro meat, I am not sure what it was called). It came with a mixture of meat, rice, and vegetables. We also were served this type of bread that was amazing. Even though I was full, I couldn't stop eating. The taste of the food was so good. Very nice place for q date or family gathering. Definitely will be going back.
