I have been wanting to visit this place and I finally was able to! Colombian food is my favorite and I was excited to try it out! Service was great! Our waiter took great care of us! The place is clean and spacious as well which is greatly appreciated. Looking at the menu I was disappointed that they didn't have an empanada plate on the menu. They only sell them individually. But the empanadas were still good and packed with flavor! For my main dish I got the bandeja paisa and it was delicious! The chicharon was super good and the rice and beans were amazing! The meat was okay to me. Overall I would come back and try more menu items since they do have a lot of options to choose from! On my way out I could not leave without getting dessert! I got a quesillo which is like flan and some others as well to try! Can't wait to be back!

Amazing Colombian food restaurant. It not only has great service, but all the regions dishes and wide variety of choices ranging from entrés, main courses, drinks, desserts and even bakery! And food quality (in the many times I have been there) is the best.
A real gem as for Colombian gastronomy and 100% recommend it.

I was just passing by Houston, and I was able to find this wonderful restaurant that offers plenty of choices in their menú. I was able to try the Mondongo, but I did NOT disappoint. My father had the Ajiaco, and the same result 100% satisfied. I would definitely come back when i ever come back in town

It was my first experience with columbian food and I like it. However, the food was a little tasteless and I’m not sure it is the common Columbian taste or it is it is for this specific restaurant. The variety was so good and there were many options. We ordered Arroz con Pollo & Carne Mechada. I liked Carne mechada more. Also we ordered a coffee at the end and the coffee was also very nice. We noticed they also have a happy hour and it would make it very much worthy during those hours that maybe we try it later.

I went here on Sunday at around 4. The service is phenomenal, it didn’t take long for the food to arrive and they were really nice and welcoming. The food was great, and even after eating an entire fish I ordered a vanilla flan, which was absolutely delicious. Restaurant itself is really clean and nice. 100% would come here again. (and for all the soccer fans, they have matches playing on the tv)
El Salsero Sanchez (Salsero)
This is one amazing place to get some authentic Colombian food. The service is top-notch, attentive, and always making sure you're doing good with your meal. The Maracuya with milk is amazing. I love their pan de bono, and the arepas are delicious. They are served nice and hot. We ordered the Picada and the Bandeja Paisa. Honestly, it's a lot of food for one sitting, but the flavors and the ambiance make it feel really good and makes you want to come back for more.

This is a must come restaurant in the Houston area. They have really good empanadas and my favorite one is the Cheese one. Every dish here is freshly and high quality made. Just see which one goes with your taste. The service is good and the environment is lively. Their guava juice with milk is actually good and can't get it everywhere. Chicharron is also a must have and a lot of dishes comes with it.

Wow! My coworker invited me to join her for lunch at this place. The empanadas were sooo good. We shared a plate bur I'm not sure of the name from the menu. It was alot of tasty food. Beef, pork, sausage, red beans and yummy rice, egg, plantains, a white fried flat bread, and a wedge of avocado. 🥑 I can't wait to go back. We stopped at the pastry counter on the way out and grabbed dessert. So yummy. I think I love Columbian food now.

Usually go there for lunch. I love their seafood soup and their fresh fruit cocktails. The bakery at the entrance will always attract you… be careful, more calories are coming your way.

Stopped at this restaurant to try the vegetarian and vegan empanadas. Both were amazing. We also had the fried arepitas with hogao, the papas criollas and the arepa stuff with egg! All were amazing. Had the mora juice and it was also amazing

My mom and I shared the red snapper fish dish and it was fantastic. Fresh and condiments just perfect. The empanadas were so fresh delicious! I’d love to come back here again.

Jose, Our server is an amazing person!
It was our first time in our life eating Colombian food. Jose made our experience the BEST! Sometimes you go to a restaurant and the food is good but your servers bad attitude and bad service ruins your whole experience and gives you a sour taste. Jose not only brought DELICIOUS food out for us to eat. He also delivered GREAT service and the BEST attention ever! Jose we will be coming back and asking for you if we are in town! Thank you!

I ordered chicken soup, empanadas, and juice. food had a good flavor even the juice was made with more fruit than water. however a bit pricey but worth it. our waiter was very attentive
