Good brisket and ribs. Both have a lot of nice smokey flavor. Tasted great when I got it and held up even after another 6 hour plane ride. Dirty rice and potato salad are just okay. BBQ sauce was very nice and tangy.
Unfortunately no beef ribs.

First time visiting Burn's and I wasn't disappointed. Fast service and simple menu. Brisket and link sausage was delicious. I'm going back to try the famous Burn's Burger Shack right next door! They were featured on Anthony Bourdain's food show years back!

I didn’t make it out the parking lot an my order was to go 😂🤦🏽♀️ i was like let me try this be for I pull off cause baby all food not good food… BABY the best bbq I had since I moved to Texas an I been here 10 years now. Remember this place from Parts Unknown with Anthony Bourdain, so decided to try them out after landing. Got the ribs, chopped beef, potato salad, and mac & cheese. The sides were just "okay." But the ribs were good, just a tad but tough. The chopped beef was good, and the fat in it added flavor. I'd go back to try other meats. Parking is in the lot on the side of the building.

Great smoked Ribs and Brisket. Ribs had the right amount of smoke. They were not as tender as I would like. I would have like to have seen the extra meat on the backside of the rib cut off. I have never seen a professional restaurant not cut that meat off. The brisket was a little bland. It wasn’t bad. The mac and cheese was the best I have ever tasted. It was fresh and made with goodness. The green beans were ok. This place is in the Hood. They did have an armed Police officer. So that was a plus. The one staff member that I interacted with was not friendly. Overall the food was great, service and location was less than desirable. You get a moderate amount of food for the price. Fyi there is only one place to sit and that is outside. Its over 100 degrees outside!!!!!!!

Let me add my accolades to the masses. Burns Original BBQ is excellent. From the meets to the sauces, it is all good. The prices are still reasonable by today's standards and again, the barbeque sauce, oh my. So good. I ordered the brisket, the sausage and the potato salad. Everything was fresh and I mean really fresh. There was a long line just waiting to order. The whole experience was excellent. I highly recommend!

While visiting from St Louis, we had to try Texas BBQ. Burns was highly recommended, and I see why. The food was delicious, extremely delicious😋. The brisket and burnt ends were exceptional. Whenever I'm in Houston, now I know where to go! The hospitality was awesome as well, I didn't get the young lady name at the register,however, kudos to her for providing excellent service👏🏿

The Chopped Beef Sandwich was really good! Full of flavor, moist and tender. The BBQ Sauce really set it off. I also had the Green Beans, very good! The baked beans were great as well. I will definitely be ordering from here again. Food was delicious. I ordered from uber eats and the food was packed perfectly in a sealed bag along with everything being wrapped with foil on the outside of the containers to keep the food hot. Very impressed!

Visited from Florida, they were out of boudin so I was recommended to try the chicken sausage and it was fantastic, sliced brisket and spare ribs were top tier. Delicious dirty rice, great smoked, dry rub bbq and love that sauce! Wish we had bbq this good at home.

Burns BBQ is a Houston institution and something everyone needs to do at least once. Anthony Bourdain-approved and a family favorite Burns BBQ original location in Acres Homes has been serving barbecue for years.
Contrary to most recent reviews our food was delicious, however I wish the baked potato was freshly baked and dressed with the toppings I ordered instead of packaged individually and thrown on top of the potato. The potato was hard and almost inedible. I say almost because I was so hungry I choked it down anyway. I’d never seen any place package a potato to-go the way they packaged mine. I was disappointed in my potato. The ribs were delicious though!
There’s plenty of patio space with picnic tables to seat large parties. There is accessible parking and it is ADA accessible. It’s nice to see Burns BBQ accommodating families.

Before you even catch a glimpse of this place, you can smell the delicious barbecue that awaits you as you drive on the streets nearby. When you arrive, it is very evident how much the community loves this place. There is ample parking, and yet it seemed to be consistently full.
There was no wait to order, and the staff was exceptionally friendly.
The food is delicious and the barbecue sauce is fantastic.

Wow, I stumbled across this hidden yet popular gem while out today . When I first passed by it I saw the lunch crowd and diversity of people which caught my eye. After, finishing my business in the area o returned to check out the scene. My, my,my ! They have it going on. I entered the building for BBQ as they also have a burger building . The inside was cool.and clean. The staff was super nice , once I mentioned it was my first time, a nice gentleman gave me a personalized shout out over the intercom, it's was so funny and welcoming. I ordered the brisket sandwich. There orders come out relatively fast for a BBQ joint! My food my delicious. It's so great to see black owned businesses prosper and the crowd was so diverse as I said before . So many professionals on lunch . People of all ages and colors . Love it . Keep prospering and serving .
