Love it here. Definitely more choices than Arandas bakery. It’s always packed but cashiers work quick to get you out in a jiffy. They’re are always bringing out fresh breads recently baked.
It's definitely a place to grab delicious pan dulce "sweet bread." The aroma is so exquisite as soon as you hop off your vehicle. And when you open the door, a blast of sweet joy hits you straight in the face. Mouth watering goodness on every wall! They have all kinds of bread there. From regular co
I've been to a lot of bakeries in my day, but El Bolillo bakery is by far the best. The pastries are always fresh and delicious, and the service is top-notch. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they always go out of their way to make sure you're happy with your order.

As a non Hispanic visitor I had a delightful experience! The aroma of freshly baked goods was irresistible, and the selection of pastries was extensive. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the pastries were delicious. I'll definitely be back for more!
I love stopping by the bakery and grabbing a few items to snack on for the day. I love the churros, they have plain and caramel filled churros. The cream cheese empanadas are also soo delicious. The most recent visit, I tried a tres leches from the display and it was a decent slice for $3 which is
El Bolillo is the only bakery I need in my life. In fact, I did one of my final projects for my spanish class in college about the greatness of Kirk Michaels and his beautiful El Bolillo. Living as far as I do from it, though it is a treat to come here and enjoy in the fresh baked goodness. I love e

First time visiting and what a great first impression! I'm a huge fan of Mexican pastry and baking, and El Bolillo is quite a fun experience! When you first walk in the door, you can smell the fresh breads and pastries, and I was just blown away by the variety and selection! You grab a tray and a
Very cheap but extremely delicious food. Only con: the workers there aren't too fluent in English, so it's hard to order for a non spanish speaker
I wasn’t prepared for how good it would smell walking in! Bustling with customers and employees alike, grabbing a tray and serving yourself was so much fun. With so many options to choose from (and everything looking so good!) it took a few laps to settle on what to get. Kind staff and unbeatable pr
This place is amazing! The best place for sweet breads! They have a couple locations around the city.
I love this bakery. So many choices. I’m from Detroit and the taste was just like I remember it. Our bakery in Detroit have changed some things and they are not the same. Everything I tried was delicious!
I have been to many Mexican bakeries in California and Chicago but haven’t come Across anything like this. They have a wide variety of cookies, cakes, tres leches, fresh tortillas, tamales and many more. I am going to be a returning customer and will recommend this to anyone craving Mexican baked go
Pan frances, empanadas, conchas, churros, and even fresh made tortillas galore! Also, I messed up by not buying the Grande Conchas...Make sure ya'll look around before grabbing the first thing ya'll see like I did, lol. The main reason I make the 30 - to 40-minute treck to El Bolillo is the consiste
Baked products are very good but don’t forget the tamales! As good as any I’ve had in Houston. Maybe the best. Masa is done and not too thick. And you get a good amount of meat in the tamales too. Spicy may be to spicy for some, but they offer mild as well.
A true Houstonian knows this is the best panadería in H-Town. If you are looking for authentic sweet bread and Mexican pastries, you will delight in all of the wonderful selections (as well as seasonal items, coffee, tortillas, and more). They are extremely affordable which makes this place a true g
