Great little place that opens late in downtown Houston. Meant places around here were closed by 8pm, even the hotel bar was closed for food! Quick, tasty local tacos and chips and salsa. Very reasonably priced and quick service! I would recommend a visit.

What a great spot for the best salsa I've had in a long time! The food was perfect. But that salsa was so good. The chips were homemade. Cute outdoor seating with a open bar. My only regret was that I didn't ask for a bag of chips and salsa to go! 😫

My friend and I stopped in here hoping to find some authentic Mexican food and found a winner. The man who took our order was very pleasant. He patiently took our order, he was very knowledgeable about the menu, and brought our food to us. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for some very authentic tacos. **I may be white but I do have Hispanic roots and lived in Mexico 😂**

Great taco place with fantastic flavors throughout the menu. Each taco is just individual enough that it has a unique and different flavor profile. The El Fandango was phenomenal! Guacamole is good and very smooth, but the chips could have used a little more salt. Gluten free options are available with corn tortillas (they even double them up for strength!). We will certainly be back to try more taco options!

Stopped in for a quick taco to go so can't say much about the atmosphere. Place wasn't busy and no wait to order. Got the brisket breakfast taco; it was great only wish I had ordered 2 or 3, they are on the smaller side.

We had the El vaquero tacos . Soft well season meat. We also tried the sampler and i recommended getting it l. It has 5 mini tacos and nachos . It's was all super good! Will be back for sure !

Came here because their sign said "breakfast". Grabbed their "royal flush" breakfast taco. Kind of an unfortunate name but quite tasty. It's a small soft flour taco (think you can ask for corn) with scrambled egg, potatoes, cheese, and beef brisket. They serve it with a little salsa on the side. It was so good, I went again the next day and got the same thing and another one - just a regular breakfast taco with eggs, cheese, and jalapeno sausage. It also comes with its own side of salsa. It had a nice spicy bite. Each is around $3+ each. Kind of small, but great at those prices. This place looks like a fun spot for good eats. On the list to try next time I'm back.

This place is fantastic!!! Came through during a vacation bc I was craving a fish taco and they delivered and then some!! Honestly, it was very likely the best fish taco I’ve ever had. I got a fried fish taco (best ever), the shrimp one (also amazing), and the grilled fish (delicious but the fried one is where it’s at!). Highly recommend! Make it a point to visit. Also, get the queso. They aren’t lying when they say it’s the best in town.
My cousin also got the pork taco and said it was her favorite ever

2nd time in 3 days and still want more!<br/><br/>Wow oh wow, what a great place to have 3 blocks from home! I love all 4 tacos I had, and I made my own putting sauteed onions and sauteed peppers! We will be back several times a week I'm SURE!

Nice family-owned taqueria. The breakfast tacos are fantastic. I had the potato, egg and cheese tacos with the homemade hot sauce. Nice staffers too. It’s my second visit and it won’t be my last.

Very good tacos and fantastic queso but they have terrible hours and don't sell alcohol. They say that they are getting their license to sell beer but they have said that for well over a year.

SUPERB SUSTENANCE, SERVICE AND STYLE! BEST QUESO EVER!. For the past six or seven months, we have been bringing our company's interns to Lone Star Taco Company Downtown and they have NEVER failed to give us outstanding service and the best in Tex-Mex cuisine. Our staff has sampled most of the restaurants in the Downtown area and we've pretty much decided that Lone Star Taco Co. is our GO-TO dining establishment. The quality and quantity of their food is UNMATCHED! We routinely bring parties of thirty of more interns to the restaurant and Brittney is always accommodating and makes us feel like family. Her staff is exceptionally courteous and attentive. And the food (especially the QUESO) is absolutely unrivaled! Centrally-located and so convenient...our entire staff agrees that we'll be coming here REGULARLY! KUDOS!!!

Wrong mix of flavors. Oriental spices & Tacos are very bad combination, <br/>cold tortillas are never tasty and lost of cold grated chess as well Grose I will never come back there, cheese sauce that come with the chips is disgusting and meat no tasty at all

Poor Customer Service. The light skinned, short black girl was very rude. She greeted me with an attitude as soon as I asked what they had by replying with "tacos". Duh! If I was maybe white or more professionally dressed she maybe would have been more nice. I guess its my fault.

Good breakfast tacos. Right size. Right price. Two large tacos and a drink for under 7 bucks. Habanero and Serrano sauces were excellent just the right amount of heat. I'll be back for lunch
