If you like ice cream go here! We had a nice experience, the flavors were fun. Although, as a traditionalist, I’d recommend strawberry-very fresh tasting. I would definitely go back. It was a hit. The courtyard and other surrounding places make it an excellent place to go with young kids. Very family friendly!

Hot day today ! So why not ice cream ! Saw this place looked good , stopped by ! Loved the environment ! Loved the names of the ice creams ! Ordered a cone ( homemade waffle cone ) 2 scoops ! Almond cloud and stone cold cream Austin , had great flavor ! The topper of all the ice cream was the Taco Sandwich ! Delicious 😋🤤 !! Definitely will be going back !

Great place for ice cream and floats. Plenty of choices and flavors. One can even get an old time float with good old fashion root beer.
The place is small with a little seating available. There are a few outside seating areas but they have no shade. It is difficult to get in and out dew to construction in the area. However the difficulties are well worth it. The flavors and taste of this creamery selections are fantastic. Because we were full from dinner, we shared the "Birthday Sundae", however anything is worth it here. Yes they offer limited sample tastes.

Such a cute tiny hidden place. I loved all the cat decor, the flavors were all delicious. Would deff recommend the Thai tea with condensed milk and the brown sugar cereal!

Super tasty ice cream place with a lot of fun flavor options! I came here with a friend the other day. She had the coconut chai flavor with these super cute chocolate cats as toppings, and I had a butter pecan milkshake with sprinkles as a mix in. I love the cat theme!

Not a ton of flavor but still delicious. You can add mix INS and that can really make your flavor pop. Waffle cone was delicious

Located in a cute little hip area with lots of food options, this shop is perfect for a sweet something. They have some unique flavors, boozy offerings, and ice cream tacos. We love a good coffee ice cream and at FatCat it is STRONG 😍 such a cute and fun shop.

First time here with bestie & it was so good, the only thing I will say is becareful when opening the door, try not to hit your toes 😂...other than that great service, you can even sample, I got the Chai Green Tea Coconut (vegan option)😁 it was very delicious to me, & after a great heavy brunch, it was light & just right for me🥰🤗🫶🏼🥹my friend I can't remember her option but I know she added the cone crumbles & it looked delicious as well 🥹🫶🏼🥰🤩 definitely recommend definitely will be eating here again 😁 I almost forgot , it's not their fault so I won't take away any stars but be mindful, they are reconstructing the whole area, so it is kind of a hassle to get too...but worth it🤗🫶🏼

Probably the best ice cream I’ve had in Houston. Top-notch quality and taste. You can easily tell they only use fresh local ingredients. Not to mention their brown butter, brown sugar cone is absolutely delicious. Never had anything like it!

This was a first time going. I had two scoops of the cats meow Mexican vanilla. This ice cream was very flavorful and the cone literally melted in your mouth. I will definitely be back!!!

Fat Cat Creamery is a boutique ice cream shop on 19th and North Shepherd serving small batch ice cream and shakes. Their ice cream is incredibly well done - rich, smooth and creamy. I went two kinds of a vanilla and a coffee and cream all of which had unique twists on the classics. Be aware seating outdoors is limited.

Small nice store. The owner is really sweet and friendly. She offered us to try as many flavors as we wanted. I chose hot chocolate flavor but it was quite sweet for me. $3.85 for a scoop and each additional one is $1.60. If you want a cone, it’s $1.50 extra. Store is quite small but they do have outside seats.

Jason is very kind, funny and patient. It was my first time and never heard of this business. They were open late as I was craving ice cream after an event. The flavors were interesting. So I went ahead with his suggestions and they were on point. I forgot which ones I had, but one was with beer and the other with rum. They were delicious on a waffle. Definitely going back

I LOVE THIS PLACE. SERIOUSLY. if this were down the street I'd be 30 lbs heavier. The nice twist of quality ingredients with booze in some items. My go to is their coffee ice cream. As basic as it sounds, it's very addicting! This is crack... Maybe because coffee ice cream is my kryptonite. This time, I got the rice crispy chocolate and the banana bread. Just WOW.
Rice crispy chocolate was Rich and had bits of rice crispy. It was just so creamy!!! Simple flavors but worked so well together. Perfect on a hot summer day.
The banana bread was my favorite of the two. Not sure if it was the banana bread bits, but this was just heavenly. I just finished a large meal before dessert and I thought of going back for a second ice cream!? Crazy? Or crazy good?
Always cool people working, so helpful when it comes to respond new flavors. Only downside is that it's very pricey. So if they moved down the street from me, I'd not only be 30 lbs heavier but broke too. $17 for 2 scoops and a pint of coffee ice cream to go. Ouch. But yum!!

Yayyyyyyy! So dang happy that Fat Cat is n this nifty new hangout…perfect for relaxing w friends or hanging w the fam. It is hard not to over order hear as there are soooo many delicious offerings n their compact menu. I personally love to combine two scoops of the chocolate stout and whiskey pecan…yum!

Great selection of flavors. Competitive prices. Friendly staff. Nice little hidden spot. The center common area looked like a great place to hang out. I'd recommend the Salted Butter Caramel pint when it is in stock. Will visit again and I'll recommend to friends and family.
