Unique signature sushi, so good! Loved the tiger Roll, the jalapeno tempura was so tasty. Excited to come back and try their other rolls. Beautiful display and romantic atmosphere. We had their plum wine, it was the right amount of sweet served in a classy small flute glass.
We have been coming to Nippon for more than 25 years, and the food never disappoints. Great to see some of the same staff here for all of those years! We now live a few states away and this is our first visit here since the Pandemic. It was great. Tonight's stand our rolls were the Caterpillar R
Didn’t expect much because of high food mix in the menu (ramen, sushi, sashimi, tempura, bento etc) BUT was positively surprised. Ramen was super flavorful and tasty. Also sushi roll was great (had caterpillar) Rel authentic Japanese next-door place
Absolutely amazing experience at Nippon! We tried a bit of everything, couldn’t be happier with the freshness and taste of all the dishes. The waitresses were all welcoming. Overall one of the best sushi and ramen experiences we’ve ever had. Would definitely come back when we visit Houston.

Great food and great service. My wife loves Japanese curry and this place satisfied her craving. The sushi tasted fresh. The ginger dressing on the salad was different than other Japanese restaurants in a good way. I could not place what was different. It just was.
Oh my goodness this place was amazing. The lunch bentos were so, so good. Highly recommend the beef teriyaki bento box. So much food for such a great price. Parking can be really tight here, so I recommend coming here for lunch. Reservations are encouraged for dinner.
The eel and rice is great. I really enjoyed the eel sauce. The sushi was ok too. We also got a couple of wines and they were good. The parking is really tight over here.
Cozy atmosphere with authentic Japanese food. The servers are friendly and the owners speak Japanese. We got the dragon and shaggy rolls which were quite nice with good amount of ingredients (unlike the other restaurant that tend to put a lot of rice in their rolls). The seared salmon nigiris were t
I super enjoyed the food. Cozy family-style Japanese restaurant with great food. We had seafood platter and salmon teriyaki. Definitely one of the best in mid town. Their rice is impeccable!
