Absolutely wonderful food. The servers and service staff are top tier! Our server knew our needs before we did! He recommended wonderful food and he made sure that we were were satisfied. If more establishments had this level of exceptional service the world would most definitely be a happier place. All smiles over here. There is nothing negative to post about this restaurant. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Ava’s is an Indian & Pakistani cuisine in Houston since 2001. Their menu is 100% Zabiha Halal. Food taste is very good. Their service is great. Atmosphere is excellent. Refreshments like Mint Lemonade and mango drink are good. Very good family restaurant. Big party hall is there.

Absolutely delicious! There was nothing we ordered that wasn’t amazing. The goat chops were highly recommended for a reason. The service was also impeccable and the food was ready within minutes of ordering. Will definitely come back again

Aga's is absolutely worth the hype. Easily one of the best restaurants in town, all the dishes I tried were absolutely delicious. All were served quickly, fresh and hot. The goat chops in particular stand out as a must try. I went during the early lunch time On the weekend and despite how busy it was I was seated instantly. When leaving I did notice a line had formed so if you want to avoid the wait go early! I will say though their outdoor set up is very nice with ice cold water available for everyone in line.

The wait wasn't too bad but there might have been an event the night I went. My group was able to get a table in under 30 minutes. We order the goat chops, 2 orders of the samosa chaat, 2 pitchers of mango lassi, palaak paneer, chicken tikka masala, goat korma, and fish briyani. Everything was regular spice. It was all delicious and mind blowing and life changing. The mango lassi was so sweet and deceptively light, however it would come back to bite us in the butt for ordering TWO pitchers. The goat chop with the sauce was delicious. The samosa chaat was light and yummy and I could eat a whole plate on my own. Everything else was great but I can't handle spice so it was hard for me to enjoy it because I just remember my mouth burning and my nose clearing up. I'd go again and get mild if I could.

Aga’s are literally the go to for so many enthusiasts and ethnic south Asians. It’s an easier choice than some other establishments for sure. For one the service is top notch and the venue is inviting and can host more than some of its competitors combined. That’s all good, but that’s not what sets this place apart. In the end, what’s a restaurant without its food? I’ve yet to have anything here I didn’t like. My go-to are the Biriyani, Aga’s BBQ Platter and the Chicken Karahi.

The food here was exceptional, each dish I tried was a powerful surprise of flavor. I generally do not eat spicy things and getting everything as "mild" helped. Still built a little heat but still enjoyable for someone who doesn't eat spices often. I will definitely come back for the food. Service was good, fairly standard. The atmosphere was busy with a lot going on at all times. If you are going here you are going for the food simple as that.

Had a wonderful eating experience with the family on a Tuesday afternoon in November. We were able to get a table immediately with our party of seven and was promptly attended to. We even ordered additional entrées and drinks throughout the meal and was properly served. We ordered a variety of different curries and meat, and had a really enjoyable eating experience! the flavors are well developed and the spices are absolutely delicious. if you have a hard time with spice, make sure that you let the servers be aware of that ahead of time. The garlic and bullet naan are amazing! The mango lassi was also very delicious! They even had Pakola on the menu too! Highly recommend, and really look forward to going back!

Absolutely fantastic experience. The food is delicious, we were in Houston for 3 days and kept returning here all 3 days. We tried the Chicken and Goat Karahi, both were too good esp the Goat. Malai Kabab was super soft and creamy, Bihari Kabab just melts in your mouth. The prices were very reasonable. Weekend brunch has Halwa Puri, which included Aloo Sabzi, Chane and Halwa. The masala soda reminds you of ‘banta lemon’ and the lassi was very good as well. For Dessert we had kulfi every single day and was absolutely delicious.! Staff is very friendly and Hasan with the management team was very welcoming. Highly recommend!

Aga’s stood true to its reputation, insane goat chops. The masala was perfectly cooked. The chops were perfectly charred and the quantity was wholesome. We were served with sharp and unassuming yet conversant staff. The restaurant itself is well lit and ventilated and obviously a lot of great food and it’s aroma on the tables served.

Everything we ordered was delicious!! More impressive was the organization and customer service. Efficient electronic check-in system for a table, ALL the staff was friendly, well-spoken, attentive… and they turn people through there quickly… place is huge. Maybe hundreds dining there… for a Friday night we waited less than 10 mins at 7pm and the place was packed. Food came out quick and logistics were on point!!

Amazing food, service and atmosphere. Behari kabab and Nehari was amazing. And Masala chai is on Point. We also ordered lollipop chicken and Makhni chicken. They are good but for appetizer I recommend chicken pakora and for drink Mango Lassi. NOTE you can get amazing and fresh Pan outside as well but that Pan shop cash only.

I've never actually eaten at the restaurant, I pick it up and eat at home. The service I do receive is great, there is always someone to hold the door open and greet no matter how busy they are and the cashiers are friendly. The food is amazing! The first thing I tried is the goat and it is delicious, the naan is good and just recently I tried the chicken lollipops for the first time, I didn't realize there was a sauce because it was under the foil, it is great without the sauce but absolutely incredible with. The pink lemonade is so refreshing, it's a bit expensive for how much you get. The pitcher is definitely the better deal but it's worth it if you are a fan of fresh lemonade. All around one of my favorite restaurants ever.

I think this is the most hyped Indian/ Pakistani restaurant in Houston. Heard so much about it. It was my first time here and it didn’t disappoint me. The server came immediately to take the order, she was helpful to choose the items. Surprisingly the wait time for food was just 5-7 minutes. Whereas indo/pak restaurants usually take 15-20 minutes to serve this type of food. All of the items we ordered were delicious. Chicken lollipop and lamb chops were the showstoppers. In future I wish to visit Agha’s again.

It was our first time as we were around the area for a photo shoot and I must say the food, drinks and service was A1 👌 We have a 7 month old and as soon as we approached the host he offered our baby a lollipop. Sometimes it’s a bit difficult to enjoy our food with a baby but the employees came by to talk and distract the baby when they could and our son enjoyed that 🥰 Thank you for being kid friendly!

Really nice restaurant that serves authentic Indian foods. When you first walk in you get the feeling, that you entered a buffet style restaurant. But you soon realize it’s a full serve restaurant. The menu is available through the QR code at your table. There’s plenty of pictures showing the food, as well as a really good description of the entrees. The food to me is served family style, or I should say. The food served is enough to feed 2-3 people, so you could order a few meals to share amongst your party. Goat Peshawari Karahi- Authentic Peshawari style Karahi, cooked with tomatoes, serrano peppers, and other traditional spices & herbs. This entree was amazing, the flavor was so good I literally contemplated licking my plate. On top of that the goat meat was very tender, and didn’t have a gamey taste to it at all. Lahori fish and fries- a unique flavor profile to this dish. I want to say it tasted like to much sage to me. Bu I’m not even positive it is actually sage being used. So It was just ok to me, it’s a 50/50 chance of ordering again. Tempura Shrimp- good pieces of shrimp and served with tartar sauce. I would've like the tempura coating to be a lot more crispier. Goat Biryani- Traditional Pakistani dish made with seasoned long-grained rice layered with tender goat cooked in a thick gravy. I love, love, love this rice dish.

We came to this restaurant to celebrate a Birthday. I've been seeing a lot of good reviews of it and this place was also recommended by an acquaintance friend. We ordered lamb chops, garlic Naan bread, chicken Biryani, Mango lasi, and falooda drink. The lamb chopsare tender and taste good! It was our first time trying the falooda drink, and it didn't disappoint us! The restaurant does gets full and parking gets challenging especially we came at lunch time. Overall, we look forward to coming back and trying their other dishes next time.

Must try!!!!! I am not a fan of Indian food usually I stick to my own cultural food and it is very hard for me to step out! My husband had been craving Indian food and everyone told us this was Houston’s best Indian restaurant and I have to agree. I had the tikka masala and it was delicious, is also tried the other curry which had a more of a tomatoe taste and I have to admit it was delicious! We paired with basmati rice and garlic naan and it was the perfect combination! Also the mint lemonade was very tasty! The service is excellent they bring your food rite out and the servers are very attentive.

Aga’s Restaurant had sublime food. We enjoyed every item. The grilled goat chops and beef Bihari kabab were excellent. The Aga’s BBQ Platter was a great option. The vegetable samosa chaat was warm, which was a bit unexpected, but still good. Service was excellent. Would definitely recommend!

Good Pakistani restaurant

Good Pakistani restaurant in Houston. Spacious, clean ambiance with table service. Professionally trained servers with quick service. We ordered Aga bbq platter, naan, chapati, fish kata kat, chicken fried rice and mango lass. We liked each of these items. Quality is very good ( but better kebabs are available in Houston at a more affordable price) but quantity and price-wise, not the best if one is expecting Texas standard. Price is actually above the standard or average price.

Chicken biryani, chicken tandoori, chicken karahi, butter chicken, lahori fish. The best pakistani/indian food in houston Ive had. Even In Texas!

We have heard a lot about this restaurant, finally today we went there for dinner.

The hospitality of this restaurant is top notch. You are greeted with smile by the entire staff.

We are pure vegetarian, the manger(Sufian) especially came to our table to make sure we get the best of what we order. The restaurant was jam packed but even then our food order came on time. Our server was very nice and food was delicious and fresh.

Lastly, we were pleasantly surprised when the owner came to our table and asked if we liked the vegetarian options.

We came all the way from the other end of houston just to eat dinner at this restaurant, thankful to the manager - Sufian to make this experience at Aga's really great.

Keep up the good standards.

One of the best Pakistani restaurant in Texas. They have all three elements of success down, the service, the quality and the cleanliness. I had their famous goat chops many times and every time they taste awesome. Other items are also very good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant looks, feels and smells good. Keep up the good work.

Ill start off by saying Aga's has the best goat chops ever! You're missing out if you've never tried the goat chops. Everything on the menu is great! The taste doesn't change from time to time. It is very consistent and quality is fantastic! Customer service is wonderful, the manager/owner will come out and make sure everything is good. I feel like they genuinely care for their customers. This is hands down the best into-pak restaurant in Houston!

Aga's restaurant has honestly never disappointed me, it has only exceeded my expectations. They're food is amazing, but what I like more than that is the food has always been consistent throughout all my experiences there and that is what keeps me coming back to Aga's. The service is outstanding and I enjoy the friendly and clean environment. My favorite items are the grilled goat chops, biryani, tawa gosth and their daal. Great job with the fantastic service and food Aga's!

If you are looking for Indian food in Houston, this is by far the best Indian restaurant in Houston. We were there on a Saturday. As mentioned on other websites, this place was packed but we were lucky to get our table ready in no time. We ordered their popular Grilled Goat Chops, Chicken Tikka Masala, Biryani and Naan. Everything was just delicious. The goat chops were just heavenly. In fact, my friends seem to be addicted with their goat ghops. The Birayani was spicy good with some delicious flavors to it. Not only was the food tasteful, but the service is impeccably genuine and heartfelt. I would definitely come back to this place again.

Just visited Aga's the other day, as mentioned on other websites, their Goat chops are mouth watering. The quality of the food is awesome. Also, the environment is refreshing because of the cleanness of the restaurant.
I highly recommend this restaurant.

Horrible experience! Ruined our mother's day dinner. We went there for mother's day dinner, when we entered the restaurant, it wz like a fish market and full of smoke, everyone was coughing and eyes burning.
When we ordered food, they didnt inform us about anything, took the order, took orders on 3 tables after us, served them before us, they had ordered chicken biryani too. They got their order of chk biryani before us and after reminding them twice when we finally got our order, the waiter informed us that they are out of chicken biryani and he said manager will come and talk to u,they never came, we never got our drinks then the owner came and started arguing instead of apologizing, the manager said that it was our mismanagement and we shud not charge them so owner started getting mad at the manager plus waiter started giving us attitude. No one apogizes except the manager and owner told us not to come back...WTF! Uneducated bastards running this place. I would not recommend this to anyone!!!
Arif
If you leave without trying their goat chop you miss the best item in their menu.
Shalinm
If you haven't been here in a while, the management and chef have changed and the food is horrible!!! We left our food on the table, paid and walked out!
Food Lover
Pony Tail Guy with Big attitude. Go there if you have plenty of time because it took us 30 minutes to get our food and when you complain they blame you because you ordered grill items.
4 pcs of chicken in $ 8.99 chicken makhani :(((((((

Fantastic Restaurant. There are a lot of good Indian and Pakistani restaurants in and around Houston and this is one of the best place to visit with family. The restaurant has two place separate sitting areas which is very nice compared to other restaurants. The food was excellent and also the service was very good.

An oversized diner. This is one of several Pakistani restaurants on the far southwest side with a large menu and two very big rooms. I like the room here better than Savoy, just up the street, but the food tends to not be as spicy, alas. As far as oiliness, it seems to vary from dish to dish. The salad (onions, carrots, cucumber, cilantro) is unfailingly fresh and crisp, unlike Savoy, and they tend to have their full menu available at all times whereas Savoy often has a limited menu because of the obligations of their kitchen for catering and the banquet facility.

The room is like an over-sized diner with booths with leatherette seating in metallic blue and white and silver; there is a paan corner just inside the door. I usually eat-in here whereas I always get my food to go from Savoy. Neither of them has good naan; here, the naan, chapati and paratha are all very dense and heavy. Some may like it that way but I don't. For the best naan around here it's La Sani.
