Phenomenal Food! From the crisp tortilla chips & yummy salsa to the chicken & steak fajitas, all dishes tasted fresh. The rice was flavorful, too. The menu was priced fairly (1 pound of chicken/beef with sautéed onions, peppers, beans, rice, sour cream, cheese, pico & guacamole with 2 drinks -$61 bucks plus tip). You can get about 6-8 fajitas out of the meal pictured. Shout out to our waitress Sharlene! She was very helpful. I would definitely eat here again when in Texas.

This was my first experience here, my husband recommended it since he had been a time before. Everything from the free chips, salsa & bean dip, to the queso (with a side of jalapeños!!!) and the dishes were very flavorful! We will be back to try other dishes; the service was exceptional.

Stop in for a late lunch. Our server was terrific. He was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and respectful. We ordered watermelon mint margaritas. They were delicious and refreshing. The chips and salsa were mouth-watering. The food was okay. The shrimp was overcooked, and the rice just didn't suit our taste buds. I took one star away because of the food.

This place has been a favorite of ours for several years now. Service is always great. The fajitas are fantastic with great portion sizes, and we enjoy that they have beans with the chips and salsa.
But the real draw lately has been their excellent brunch menu on weekends. My wife doesn’t usually like breakfast food, but she finds something she likes every time we go. I’m working my way through the menu, and particularly enjoyed the omelettes and Benedicts.
One minor note, as I’m becoming more sound sensitive: the floors are concrete, and at busy times (which isn’t uncommon as the place is great!) it can be a bit loud. Absolutely not a problem or a reason ti avoid, just something to be aware of.

Food is consistently delicious. Fajitas are great. Unfortunately, staff is not very consistent. Dine in experience is fine, but take out is very lacking. A lot of times I find myself waiting 20-30 minutes AFTER the supposed pickup time, which mind you, is generally 30-60 minutes after I initially placed the order. It is because of these instances that I havent really gone back for carry out when we order for the office.

One of the best Tex-Mex restaurants in Houston. The Classic Texas Mex Enchiladas are as we say... to die for. The Chicken Lupe Del Mar is wonderful as well. Excellent margaritas.

Came for lunch on the way out of town. We started off with some melted cheese appetizer that was awesome! I had the original burrito.. large plate of food! Beans, rice, lettuce, onion, tomato and a huge smothered burrito! For the price it was a steal! Would come back for just the dip.

We had the Quseo Compuesto for an appetizer, it was great! I had the Puffy Tacos w/rice/beans...delicious 😋. It was my first time there, Hugo, our server was excellent, very helpful describing the dishes, I'll be back!

Lupe made some major changes since my last visit. They expanded the bar area and it looks great! Now, instead of one crowded strip, the area is a square with the bartender inside the middle portion. It really looks great! They needed that remodel for sure. No bar today, but I do like knowing this was revamped for a future date.
I don’t think I’ve ever been disappointed with Lupe Tortilla. They have delicious food and big portions (even for lunch). I rate my Tex-Mex by chips and salsa, since to me, that can be a meal in itself. Their chips are thin and the salsa is smokey. I love it! They also have the warm salsa with beans. It’s okay, but I prefer the smokey one. It is served cold, but next time I might ask them to warm it. I think that would make it even better.
For my entrée, I had The Pedro. It comes with a beef enchilada, a cheese enchilada, plus rice and beans. It was very good. I love the chili sauce on top of the enchiladas. The sweet tea with lemon was pretty good too.
Our waiter seemed a little distracted today. We had to ask several times for the same item. We were only a party of 3, but he had a larger group sitting near our table. I can give grace on this because he was very nice. Just needed to be a little more focused.
The restarant is pretty noisy, so be prepared for that. I prefer quieter places, but I love their food, so it's a trade off. :)
All in all, we enjoyed our meal and the chance to get out of the office. Well done, LT – and again, THAT BAR! Beautiful!!

So If I remember right I think I went to visit Lupe Tortilla this past Thursday.
It was a very good experience for me.
I have been seeing Lupe Tortilla for years and I never wanted to go.
I had went and visited one before and I had a bad experience.
The food was not good leaving a bad taste in my mouth. It took 17 yrs for me to try them again.
But at this location after saying to myself let me give them another try.
The food was good. I enjoyed it a lot.
I enjoyed the Pina colada non-alcoholic drink. It was a nice size for the price.
About the service at first when I went in there I had to wait a little bit.
When you hungry you don't wanna wait.
Finally, they came and they waited on me.
I got my food in a timely fashion.
The restaurant and the decor was very nice and clean.
Management was constantly walking around checking on people at their tables and was pleasant.
One even came up to me with a sample for me to try the beef fajitas.
She stated fajitas was their specialty.
I guess I'm convinced. They were delicious 😋.
My overall experience at this restaurant was phenomenal.

The waitress later explained to me that she was new so that's why I kind of had to wait a little bit in the beginning. She apologized to me.
She stated she was still trying to get used to everything but she turned out to be a wonderful waitress.
The serving size matched the price you had to pay. It was a yellow plate for me I love yellow a lot right now.
The charro beans made me so happy.

Not all Lupe Tortilla caters a Brunch menu but the bunker hill location does and it's Amazing. I did visit during the weekend so I'm not sure it's offered daily but it's definitely my new favorite spot.

Tex-Mex food served here. Their tortilla soup is really good. Enjoyed that they offer frijoles charros with your chips. Their menu offers brunch and lunch dishes. They offer a variety of margaritas and alcoholic coffees. I had the lunch portion of their tortilla soup and salad and it was a great portion. Their prices are average to other Tex Mex restaurants and the quality was good. Our server was pleasant.
