3.5 stars - came out here for dinner on a weekday and was pretty surprised by the food. Our apps and drinks were great, as well as the service, but the entrees were disappointing. My partner’s steak you could tell came from a frozen bag and was more rare than medium rare. My Chilean sea bass was extremely fishy and just tasted like salt, not at all what I expected. We will definitely give this place another shot but we are not in any rush to come back.

Nice elegant spot , Service was Top Tier ! Everyone was pleasant & refreshing. We went around lunch time , reservations was easy to make & accommodating . Food was amazing, drinks was amazing. Highly recommend Crab Cake for starters & Lobster was immaculate!! Our waiter was Amazing Kudos to the gentleman! Definitely will be back next time we are in Houston!

Nice neighborhood restaurant! I’ve visited quite a few times over the years and enjoy the variety of oysters and the menu specials. Sitting in the bar can be fun as well. Top notch seafood with a nice selection of other items as well. We have visited the private room for a party as well. They did a great job with heavy pass around!

The curry mussels was a legendary dish. I wish they could give me more toasts so that I can finish all the creamy curry.
The scallop dish was ok, the add-on lobster tail was season pretty good.

Went there for a party, the staff were so attentive, drinks were awesome and well made. I had the salmon stuffed with crab, this was the best salmon dish I had in a long time. The lobster bisque was oh so good. The menu was set for the party, but I am going back to try other things on the menu, very great dining experience, awesome location too. The chocolate box dessert was fabulous.

Great service, great atmosphere, and great food! The waiter, Terrell was very attentive, professional and helpful. He made sure our food was prepared correctly and answered any questions while remaining patient..This is a great establishment and I will be returning.

Located Uptown, this is a good seafood and steak restaurant to enjoy a nice meal with family or friends. Since our group was very big, we were able to order many of their menu options. We truly enjoyed their lobster bisque 🦞 and they do offer the half portion. We also had fried calamari, the sea bass dish and the Hawaiian tuna maki. There is a wide variety of side options that range from truffle fries to lobster Mac & cheese. We do feel that even though the restaurant was not at full capacity, their service was a bit slow. Overall a good meal!

I went for lunch as a belated birthday celebration 🎂.
We had a new item on the menu as an appetizer. It was a lightly battered crab stuff shrimp with a sweet chili sauce on the side. Super delicious 😋 Our entrée was the blackened red snapper with lump crab 🦀 butter sauce, served with mashed potatoes and string beans. Superb! The staff was friendly and attentive.

Great date experience. The ambiance was perfect. I rated the food with 3 stars bc the tuna tartar was a bit bland and the reason I chose to go in the first place was for the silk chocolate pie. I was expecting soft and silky whereas it was fresh out if the fridge making it firm and cold.

Nice ambiance for dinner time. I enjoyed my meals and our server was nice!! My appetizer was calamari and I also tried the lobster bisque. Both were good!! My main entree was lobster mash potatoes with crab and shrimp stuffed salmon. Both were really good. I also had mac and cheese as a side but I didn't like it. I would definitely be up for visiting again. We were a group of 7 so I included pics of other dishes that were ordered. Everyone said that they enjoyed their respective meals!

Food and drink were good. A little bit on the expensive side but the food is tasty! Service was good as well. Note that the lot in front of the restaurant is limited and some spaces are blocked off for valet. If you don’t want to walk far, spend $6 for valet. If you want to save some money, be prepared to park far away and walk to the restaurant.
I made a reservation on their website. I put a note that I had a business meeting and requested for a most quiet place in the restaurant, and they did grant our request. This is a plus!
I enjoyed my time there and would come back.

We had a the private space to celebrate my boyfriends birthday! Our server Brandon was attentive and on point! My lobster bisque, filet, and lobster tail were phenomenal while my boyfriend had the grilled oysters and stuffed salmon went hard in the paint! Awesome experience for us!

6/17/22 - another random stop in for HH. The menu continues to wow and improve. Presentation is gorgeous and visually exciting now. Flavors are divine! The oysters are some of the best we've had in Houston in a long time and are very reasonably priced compared to so many restaurants at the moment. Adult beverages continue to please and destress our day. Oh and the "chocolate bag" is still the best dessert on the planet! :)
This place was always a great place to stop for HH in the past. That said, we stopped coming for a long time as so many other new options. I met a client for lunch here yesterday and was happily surprised. The bar area has been revamped and seems much nicer in appearance. The menu has also had some much needed adjustments and upgrades. The food was much better than I remember in previous years. Both in its flavor and plated presentation. The Raspberry Moscow Mule was simply fantastic!!! The hostess and waitstaff were all extremely welcoming and we enjoyed better service than I remembered in past years also. I look forward to visiting more often once again as a result of these changes. Just FYI - the chocolate bag with fresh berries as a dessert is absolutely the best and a must enjoy!!

I had the 2 North Atlantic Lobsters. They were not overcooked and the mashed potatoes complimented the Lobster perfectly. UPDATE*** We dined at M&S 10/7 for a family friends birthday 🎂 FOOD WAS FABULOUS and Tristan our waiter was AWESOME!

Pros:
The food was great, the decor was really nice.
Our waiter was helpful with our menu questions.
Cons:
My seat had crumbs on it so I asked the host to wipe the seat.
The strawberry bibb salad had too much dressing on it.
I also had to ask my waiter numerous times to refill my water.

Hadn’t been here n years. Stately, dark paneled walls w high ceilings for old school feel. I enjoyed the selection of oysters but really wish they had a vinegar/shallot dipping sauce that I’ve grown to love at other joints. I like that they can prepare grilled fish very simply here to let it stand out on its own w out all the fussiness. Decent selection of wines by the glass as well and of course the large comfortable bar is a great place to have a drink while waiting for table. Service attentive but a bit slow n the main dining room.

Had my mom's surprise 60th birthday dinner here and it was great. Guy our server was amazing. Very attentive and took care of our needs. The food was also great as usual.
