Breakfast before day of shopping
Before setting out for a day of shopping, stopped to get breakfast. We got the American and French breakfast. They were cooked to expectations and served immediately after being cooked. So the food reached us hot. Definitely a good start to our day.
Nice atmosphere, warm fire burning too, good food
Good food - we enjoyed the sampler special - nice sized salad, 1/2 quiche, soup. Comes with the wonderful bread, butter and jam as always.
Also enjoyed raspberry lemonade, though we both found it quite sweet. We cut it with some water and that helped.
Always enjoy the atmosphere.
Would dine there again.
We ate a late lunch. I suspect during busy times it would be quite noisy.

Located in the lower level by the ice rink, this is a good option for a quick and tasty lunch while visiting the Galleria. Line up at the counter to place and pay for your order and then the food is delivered to your table (if ordering something cooked).
A varied menu to select from with quite a few tempting pastries that always catch my attention. I opted for the spinach and strawberry salad with added chicken. The salad was mixed in a bowl while I waited in line. To this I added a bottle of perrier and helped myself to a few slices of the fresh bread that is on offer (free) at the drinks area.
There is inside and 'outside' seating options so its a perfect people watching location.
Not really a restaurant per say but the food is tasty and comes out pretty quickly. The portion size is just right at this location. The selection of desserts and pastries is fabulous. I imagine it can get very busy on the weekends. It is a great alternative to the fast food on the first floor for sure. The grilled chicken Caesar is my favorite.
Pretty good location in the Houston Galleria. It has a nicer atmosphere than the typical "food trough" mall restaurant. This is a nice break from the rabble.
Lady madeleine. I like the cakes here...such a wonderful aroma...
Great breakfast with protein and fresh fruits, and much more. Love the classical music. Comforting on the morning ear.
Consistency. It is a chain and it is consistently tasty and fresh. The staff was welcoming and the Strawberries Romanoff was very fresh. I had the salad sampler and the salad choices are very good. Tomato Basil Pesto Pasta Salade is amazing. Good coffee and complimentary breads and jellies is always tempting.
I was very pleasantly surprised by a very friendly and efficient staff with some nice French bistro/bakery food. From the cashier to the staff in the lounge. I ordered a Croque Madame and the cashier asked me for my preference of how I wanted the egg cooked and was extremely friendly and professional. When my order arrived, the egg was not how I had requested it and mentioned it to a server in the lounge. He immediately apologized and offered to bring a new egg made over easy, that arrived before I was able to get 2 bites of my sandwich. All in all it was a very pleasant experience.
Guys this place is sooo good they are very quick had a really great experience not too packed! And yalllll I tried the Nutella stuffed muffin!! Just try it like litteraly just try it it’s has a little crunch with chocolate!! Try it!!!
It been my favorite spot after the woodway close out. The food is a little bit disappointed today but the manager handle the problem very professional. Thanks to him and we will be back .
Life changing! Their croissants are flaky, and full of flavor. The chaser salad adds a refreshing taste which is why, I strongly recommend this cafe.
La Madeleine is so cozy and feels good to eat. I really like the chicken La Madeleine with the choice of two sides! This is located inside of The Galleria.

Went here for lunch today 11:15, ordered, ate, and was out by noon. There was 3 of us. Chicken salad sandwich on a croissant without mixed green with a small Cesar salad was delicious. The poor girl at the register should have had some help but all in all great lunch.

Really enjoyed the crepes with a double americano. Service was good and fast. Fair prices.
We ordered the French Onion soups and the Au Jus Sandwich. All very good and delicious.
