Great ambiance & amazing Wine Selections. Perfect choice for a Date or Girls Night. Classy & it has something for everyone as far as food selection. Staff is super friendly and cooperative, we are content creators, they even took our selfies. Clean & welcoming. Valet service is $10 (downtown) that’s definitely affordable! Definitely going back there. Thank you Guys!

It's a nice spot. Service is on par with their prices. The food is good. They don't have many options if you're looking for GF or Dairy free, but that's my only menu complaint. It's a nice atmosphere at lunch. It does get busy, but it didn't seem to get too loud. If you're looking to celebrate, this would be a great option.

Great food and great service. Skyler took care of the entire group by himself (16 people) . Not one mistake. Just perfect. Food was amazing and dessert is a must have.

Great environment and great food. The pasta I got was super fresh and delicious. Service for my appetizer and main were extremely quick! However, my only complaint was that the dessert took a very long time to arrive due to a backlog of desserts in the kitchen. I definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to come back.

I ordered the West Australian Lobster Tail. It was delicious and very filling. The asparagus was great as well. Potatoes needed a little salt, but thats just me. The restaurant was very spacious and elegant. They even have an outside patio. The hostess at the door was very polite and asked if Id like a booth or table. My server April was very attentive, friendly, and funny. I will definitely be coming back.

I came in for $2 fish tacos and their happy hour. It is undefeated. The hostess greeted me as soon as I walked in. Jennifer makes an incredible margarita. She is attentive and provides great customer service. 20/10 would recommend.

I've been to this M&S location several times. This evening the food and service was just about perfect. Excellent flavors and superb presentation. Our waiter was friendly, helpful, and on point! My only complaint is that it's fairly expensive compared to other similar restaurants. But I'd still recommend and will certainly be back. MLB

Love this place. Had both a birthday lunch and a surprise party here in the same week! Staff helped my family pull a a great surprise for me and we enjoyed great food and drinks in a lovely atmosphere.

My wife and I were on our first trip to Houston and decided that seafood would be good to try. What an experience! The food was simply superb - both in presentation and quality. However what made our visit here particularly memorable was the exemplary service provided by Mason - his attentiveness, wit and engagement moved our experience from great to amazing. We recommend anyone visiting Houston to find time to visit here.

Wonderful experience amazing food. My first time in Houston this is the best seafood I have had so far.

They have an outstanding happy hour! We sat out on the patio and ordered a few items off the happy hour menu. They also have special pricing on wine by the glass. Our waiter was great, very attentive and kept my tea refilled. The calamari was a little more crispy veggies with a little calamari but still enjoyable and the dipping marinara sauce was so good!

Service is slow so this a great place to catch up with friends if you aren't in a rush. They have booth seating that has curtain enclosures if you need privacy or want to truly focus on present company. The lunch menu isn't too pricey but I don't recommend springing for the shrimp kisses. They're really good. The Cedar plank salmon with mash and asparagus is the best bang for your buck. I love this place. We dined in on a Friday night and it wasn't too busy only about 10+ other people there and a group at the bar, the vibe was romantic/cozy. The ambiance was relaxing. We chose seating in a booth near a window for a view of the street. Our waitress was so sweet, she made sure my husbands steak was cooked to his liking and did a great job of checking in on us. The food was very good and portioned well, the alcoholic beverages were just as excellent. My cranberry mule was simply delightful, the salmon was nothing short of delicious and the asparagus was seasoned/prepared to perfection. The dessert menu has so many options, there is something for everyone. We shared the pineapple butter cake with ice cream, and what a way to top off our meal; it was sooooo good. Buttery, moist and light, the cinnamon rly made it mellow.

So excited we found you, had wonderful dinner last night and posted my pictures to food blogs. My hometown Portland, Oregon closed. We miss Sunday Happy hour and peppercorn steak bites. Maybe this location will start the tradition back up?

M&S is a higher-end seafood chain with an interesting pricey menu. They also have a decent happy hour menu from which we partook. Fish Tacos at $2 each were the daily special (I had 2). They had a decent chunk of deep-fried fish complete with the fixins. Tasty enough. I ate all the cabbage as I struggle to eat some vegetables here in Houston (Oh, I know I could try harder). The tacos were of a decent size also! I also had the Blue Cheese Burger at $7.50. A smoking deal as one of the priciest items on the happy hour menu. This was a really good burger with blue cheese, onion rings and I was given the option and chose medium-rare. Elsewhere at the table were chicken wings, and Calamari with some deep-fried vegetables. A decent happy hour spread and frankly a pretty nice room with seating for a crowd. I'm not given to eating at chains (M&S is everywhere) and originally sneered at the idea but this was pretty good. I have been here several times for dinner but never for happy hour. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, service but especially the food!!<br/>I had Oysters Rockefeller and Ahi Tuna, they both were amazing and the drink prices were equally amazing. Myself and several of my sorority sisters were there for our organizations anniversay and we had great seating and the server (I didnt get her name) was on it! She never let our drinks go dry and made sure everyone's food came hot to the table....I will be back for Happy Hour really soon.

My favorite<br/><br/>I frequent this location because it’s truly the best all the times I’ve been there I’ve had never been disappointed, love the food , the drinks and plus they have the best happy hour in town and the best atmosphere. Highly recommended!!

See Food & Eat It<br/><br/>One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Under the understated guidance of my wonderful server Evan. King crab with side salad ( don’t know what it was but it had bacon & olives. in it? Truly satisfied!

I would come back to eat the Lobster Bisque again<br/><br/>The Maine Lobster Bisque is delicious. Typically, restaurants tend to put too much cream which makes the Bisque too unhealthy and dense. In this restaurant, the Bisque was so good that we could have eaten an entire plate just with that. The fish was also perfectly cooked with vegetables. Food well cooked and with not too many calories. You can then have a nice dessert without feeling guilty!

My meal was very good! Everything was delicious and my steak was cooked perfectly and had very good flavor. I highly recommend the grapefruit celery crush cocktail - very refreshing! The dessert "Chocolate Bag" was ridiculous in the best way possible. My server was Megan B. and she was great! Her recommendations were all spot on, and she was friendly and attentive without being over the top or hovering. Would definitely recommend!

Has been a go to place for a quality lunch for some time. I wonder if the construction in the vicinity has affected their game. Yesterday's visit for a late lunch was marginal at best. After waiting for 10 minutes for a server to show, they did their best to make up for the oversight. Manager came by and offered to comp dessert for the delay, which was appreciated. I had the fish special, Palacios Texas Redfish, served skillet blackened, topped with sauteed lump blue crab and citrus butter. Were it not for the random patches of scales discovered on the underside of the filet, plus several large bone fragments, this would have been a very good dish.

Nice ambiance, casual yet professional environment great for business lunch. Service was efficient and friendly. The menu has plenty of variety to suit all different tastes. My fish and chips entree on this visit was just average, there was a slight fishy taste to it that was not entirely pleasing. The fries were crunchy and well seasoned. Bread service before my meal is always a nice treat.

Came here for lunch and was not disappointed! The ambiance was relaxed and refined. Our server was friendly and attentive. I had the shrimp Mac and cheese. It was flavorful and hearty! Would come again.

HIGHLY disappointed. So if zero stars was an option, that would be my choice. My husband was very excited to make reservations for Mother's Day here. We had never been and it had awesome reviews. Wow... to say it was a disappointment is a serious understatement. We arrived 15 minutes early for our reservation. We were seated immediately, which was nice. We waited about 15 minutes before anyone came by the table to greet us and get a drink order. Once he did, I was curious at multiple times throughout our meal if the waiter was either going to sit ON our table to talk to us or which of us was going to be wearing the first item that he spilled. (He didn't spill anything, however multiple items were placed half on a place mat, half off and teetering or all the food slid to one side of the plate because of the way he set it down.) It took us about another 10 minutes to order an appetizer. The waiter came back and took our meal order while waiting for the appetizer to come out, which was fine. He repeated the order back to us correctly. (2 kids shrimpkens plates, swordfish for my husband, and stuffed flounder for me.) Then comes the appetizer... fried calamari served room temperature to cool is not my preference. The kids were hungry and we were about 45 minutes in at this point so we didn't send it back. We asked twice for bread before it came out. As we finish the appetizer, our food comes out. First of all, he serves the adults first. I guess that's just a pet peeve for me, but kids first. Adults know patience...after sitting for that long, my kids were ready to eat. The waiter sets my plate in front of me...."here's your grilled snapper".... he serves the rest of the table and I stop him to tell him my order was wrong. "I ordered the stuffed flounder sir....not the grilled snapper." His response? "We don't have stuffed flounder." Well, it's on the menu, that generally means you have it. And since you repeated it back to me correctly, it seems as though you had it when I ordered it. He walks away, realizes his mistake and finally brings out the stuffed flounder....after my husband and both my children had finished their meals. The food was mediocre at best. The calamari, flounder, and swordfish all lacked seasoning. Everything was bland. The only compliment I have was that our tea glasses stayed full. Fast forward a little bit...The very sweet family at the table next to us says "Ma'am...Happy Mother's Day. I'm sorry to bother you, but please check your ticket when he brings it out. My bill is $275 and there's only 4 of us. It appears that the waiter put your entire meal on my check. Oh, and he also brought your food to our table." We joke between us about how nice it was for her to treat my family for Mother's Day. Her check was only supposed to be $165 when it was corrected. We wait another 20+ minutes for a manager to come to our table. He asks if there's anything he can do for us and we said yes, we'd like our check. However, from the sound of it, you'll have to fix their check first. Our waiter is nowhere to be found at this point. The manager then brings our check and goes through each item to ensure it's accurate. He then takes 10% off the total check. It was a nice gesture, but after all that, 10% is not enough to warrant me giving them a second chance.

Have been visting the downtown address for a long time. Have scheduled meals with friends and clients many times as I did last night. Food was good but service was really bad last night.

Wonderful - went for lunch. Food and service were outstanding. Will visit again when business brings me to Houston again.

Terrible service with only mediocre food. A large group went to celebrate a birthday and they extremely disorganized even trying to charge for appetizers which were assumed to be included with the main course. Stay far away from this place! The mediocre food is not worth it!

Joined their frequent diners program and still have not gotten credit or a response from my email !! Business must be too good here !!

We like it!. Upscale seafood joint if you want to feel fancy! The stuffed Atlantic salmon is fantastic and the filet mignon is very nice.

Halibut was seabass or something similiar to seabass. I guess they can get away with it since no many would know the difference.

Fresh & tasty. RECOMMENDED.. My wife and I visited M & S Monday afternoon before an event at the Toyota Center. We were promptly seated (place was quiet) and the entire staff was courteous & professional. Our seafood (wife had shrimp, I had salmon) arrived quickly, was nicely presented, and was fresh and flavorful. Nicely paired with Albarino wine. Blueberry cheesecake was average; topping was very good but cheesecake itself had a somewhat grainy/gritty texture. RECOMMENDED.

Fantastic Lunch. Went for lunch by myself and ordered the lobster cobb salad. It was fantastic - fresh ingredients, beautifully assembled and reasonable price. Service was good considering the volume of people that descended on the restaurant all at the same time. Overall - great experience

Took a party of 23 here tonight. They forgot drink orders, app orders and half the meals were awful. Braised short ribs were 90% fat. It's a shame when the best part was the Coca-Cola

New York Strip was delicious, perfectly cooked. Wine list was lacking and wines were too new. Service was great, overall nice experience.

Blah. I should know better to not eat steak at seafood place. Filet was charburned on outside raw in middle. Scampi was weird, no garlic just butter sauce. My daughters mussels were fishy tasting. Service was good. We won't go back.

The BEST CHEESECAKE I have ever had. Great food overall. It is priced right, great atmosphere, and a very friendly, professional, and outgoing staff! Lighting was classy, an it was cool inside - what would be expected of a good seafood restaurant. I'll be back, and hopefully with the same great company as well.
