Great seafood
They were out of grouper at lunchtime! I ended up having red fish and shrimp and it was very good. The dirty rice with mango was good too. Lots of seating and a very popular restaurant in the Houston area. I love the exterior of the building with the trees.
Wonderful service and good food.
We were able to get seated quickly. We got our drinks, bread and appetizers very quickly. The crab/spinach dip was delish. Our food came at the right time. Service was great. Did not want for anything.
Sunday Lunch Winner
Great selection of food and drink. Lunch priced items that are big enough to share. Very good service. We always sit at the bar. PoBoys are outstanding. Gumbo was very good. Good flavor. Never have been disappointed here. Nice bar staff.
Everyone in our party greed the food was top notch and this was a variety of entrees from gator to crab to lobster to steak. The service was beyond reproach and I highly recommend this restaurant.

This place gets a lot of praise and while the food is yummy I think it would be tough to argue it warrants the price. The appetizers and entrees are pretty standard and uninspired, but yummy overall

The Crispy Wild Salmon dish was the best seafood dish I've ever had! The wedge salad also was excellent.
EXCELLENT!!!!! My husband & I Just ate there with 4 of our friends. We are out of town so wished we had something like this at home. All of our dinners was so good. I had the alaskan king crab legs the meat was so tender. We all ordered a different desserts & sampled each others all of them very good. Service was excellent. Don't mind paying that kind of money for great food & great service. I highly recommend this place.

I went there for a birthday party, not knowing what to expect. It was my first time in Houston, and at Pappadeaux and it was great. The wait-staff was wonderful, and very accommodating to our large party. I ordered the seafood platter. The food was really, really good. My sister ordered the cobb salad and said it was the best salad she had EVER had! That's a glowing review. We had a variety of things off the menu and everyone seemed to give their items a thumbs up.👍🏽
Bussing, 3 wheel motion in full effect. Catfish, red beans and rice makes me feel right at home. Get a good dip and you're set. Wife and I love it. Heads up crab cakes are trash tho.
10 of my friends and I came here for my 33rd birthday last Friday. The food was delicious, and the service was also. I will definitely return on my next trip to the Houston area.
Visit from California and everyone recommended coming here. It did not disappoint. The customer service from the whole staff was excellent, and the food was amazing. Alejandro, who was my server, was attentive and made the experience an overall great time. Highly recommend!
Visited this location a few times, and each time had been a great experience. Service has been exceptional, with no issues. Food and quality were good. I ordered a fried dish, and it was not greasy or mushy. But rather a perfect clean crisp. The restaurant environment was clean and lively. Outdoor seating is available with outdoor heating in the cooler temps. There's also a nice patio area with a fountain as you walk to the entrance. Usually busy on the weekends.
I was celebrating a wedding engagement with family and we had the pleasure of having Jenn as our server. Kind, knowledgeable and fast. The food was top notch in presentation and taste. It didn't miss a mark from the fried alligator bites to the new crispy salmon dish that is Thai inspired. You are getting an elevated experience in food and service for the price you are paying. DID NOT receive the same experience at McCormick and Schmicks for my mother's birthday and we paid double for a crummy experience there, that wasn't posh at all. SO that said visit this Pappadeaux location, you won't regret it.
Pappadeaux is always a hit whenever we share a special occasion! Wifey wanted to spend her birthday enjoying the Crab Claws in that creole sauce she loves!
This is a great place to dine alone or with family and friends. If you're alone, don't be afraid to sit at the bar by yourself. There's always some friendly people there. The food is always great, as well as the drinks. Try the Swamp Thing if you're looking for something strong and good. 😁

Splendid food and exceptional service in a somewhat crowded and pricey restaurant. The decor is just like New Orleans. Highly recommend the Redfish Pontchartrain and dirty rice. The free fresh out of the oven bread was an added delight.
Delicious...very nervous ordering a $50 plate but after the first bite I was impressed. It was a great experience trying something I normally wouldn't order. Thanks for the great food! Highly recommend.
