Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen always provides excellent service on my visits. I always eat at the bar when dining alone. I always order my favorite Catfish Filets with Shrimp, Fries, Salad Small Dinner with Blue Cheese Dressing on the side.
The portions are large enough for two servings. Once a month I order the Key Lime Pie...always eat this at the restaurant because the display is excellent with fresh fruit and that Key Lime Pie. I love mine at room temperature so I always tip the max and get a small to go container and bring it home. I allow it to sit at room temperature for several hours then I take small spoonfuls every hour...Love that Key Lime...very rich but so good at room temperature...sometimes they bring it out of the kitchen, not at room temperature but sample the fruit and get the small to go container and bring this one home. This can be a pricey lunch for sure but you will be able to eat twice on the portions and the taste and quality are excellent. Food Review By Facebook News.
The service was outstanding from the second we walked thru the door!! Our waitress name was Ky!! She made sure that we we're satisfied the entire time!! The food was delicious and we didn't wait forever to get it! She's was the best waitress I've seen in a long time!! Oh yea, we enjoyed our drinks too! She recommend some great spots to visit while we were there!! I can go on and on!!!

Since this Pappadeaux location first opened some 25+ years ago, I have visited a couple of times each year, especially during Lent. This Pappadeaux on 290 (13080 Northwest Fwy) is the best and most popular seafood restaurant in the area. On the weekends and during happy hour, the place is packed. As with most Pappas restaurants, the bar usually does a good job of keeping the crowds happy until they are seated. On average, the food and the service has been great. And for the most part, the 290 construction in that area is complete and it may be easier getting around.
There is a lot of construction, and so it's like a little lost gem, but if you go you won't be dissappointed. The food is great,and the atmosphere too!

Three of us enjoyed dinner here. Two of us had the blackened Texas red fish, and one had a lobster tail. We all had a salad. The salad is great, and the seafood can't be beat!
Santos was our waitress, and did a great job of taking care of us.

Stopped by here for dinner while attending a convention and so glad that I did. This place had come highly recommended and I can see why. Service was top notch and speedy. Ordered the Shrimp Brochette and was extremely pleased with the meal. So great to have such a good seafood restaurant attached directly to a convention center. Can't recommend this place enough!!
Papadeaux is a well run, locally owned restaurant in the Houston area. Great food choices, a blend of Texas and New Orleans with a long and respected history. The service is alway good, sometimes great. Highly recommend.
While in Houston on business, I called a friend for lunch and we decided to meet at Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen on the Katy Freeway, which was convenient for both of us. The restaurant opened at 11:00 AM and we were the first seated. This is a very popular restaurant and by the time we left the place was almost full. I'd be inclined to arrive early or to come after 2:00 PM to avoid the luncheon crowd. I had the Pappas Greek Salad with some additional shrimp and my colleague had the Chicken Chopped Salad; both were fresh and delicious. I would certainly return to this restaurant.
We ate here last night and it was very good. I had the Seafood Platter for supper and Creme Brule for dessert. I enjoyed it thoroughly and I like the atmosphere!
Excellent Meal. Food and service was really good. Nice portions, fresh food. Perhaps an over-liberal use of butter. Could have cut back on that. I think just ask them and they'll do it.

Pappadeaux Seafood Restaurant at Northwest Freeway in Houston, Texas, has always been my family's favorite restaurant for celebrating birthdays or entertaining visitors. Recently, I had the opportunity to host some guests from Brazil at Pappadeaux, and I wanted to make sure that they had a superb dining experience.
As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly hostess who seated us at a table in the main dining room. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with dark wood accents and dim lighting. Our server introduced himself and quickly took our drink orders.All of the dishes were cooked to perfection and were incredibly flavorful.
For our main lunch course, we ordered the fried shrimp and the shrimp po boy platters. The fried shrimp were perfectly cooked, with a light and crispy batter. The shrimp po boy sandwiches were also delicious, with fresh shrimp piled high on toasted French bread.
In addition to the delicious food, we were also impressed by the excellent service at Pappadeaux. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, and he made sure that our glasses were always full and that our food was served hot.
Overall, our dining experience at Pappadeaux Seafood Restaurant was superb. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. My guests from Brazil were very happy and appreciative, and they said that it was one of the best meals they had ever had.

I loved this place. First time and we had just walked out of a restaurant prior to this dinner. Food was amazing and great portions for the price. The best thing of all was our waitress, she was knowledgeable and so pleasant. That day turned right around and she definitely made our day! We had the cheesecake for dessert and I will be coming back every chance I get!
As always everything is perfection here whenever you go there. Today I dined in during the lunch hours. I was quickly seated. Politely attended to by the wait staff and seating staff. The atmosphere is comfortable and the food comes out promptly. Of course, the meal is served hot with generous portion sizes. First bite to last is delicious.

Good food, nice drinks and great service. Everything we ordered was amazing. There was a slight issue with my order but our waiter did us a solid by comping that part of our meal so that made up for it. It’s kind of $$ but worth the money.
I really had an amazing time with all my friends and family. This was the best birthday I have ever had in my life. This day has brought me the best of joy, love, happiness, and comfort. I loved the staff and the manager. The manager saw the deserts that we brought from the store, and she tried to offer me a free desert from the restaurant for one of our jumbo home-baked cupcakes and we went ahead and gave it to her with out anything in return. The staff was very professional and amazing.
This day was the greatest. The food was awesome. The Family and Friend Conversation was extremely energetic, enthusiastic, entertaining, and exciting. Thank you for this wonderful day. Will forever remember this day.

I had my daughters baptismal brunch in the party room. The staff was very kind and helpful during the entire time we were there. We had a party of at least 20. I would definitely recommend taking a big group there for a nice event.

Pappadeaux's always great food! It was the wait that upset me. A 40-minute wait when the restaurant had empty tables! I called the phone to make a reservation for 11 people, and the supervisor would not allow me to make the reservation. He was very unorganized; I wish I had his name!
