Review Pho Saigon - Houston

This is one of my favorite pho places downtown. I ordered a large plate, but a small would suffice. The Thai tea is good, but I like it a bit sweeter and with less tapioca (I ordered it with tapioca). Overall, I love eating here!

The parking is a tight. There’s a parking garage, there’s evidence of a homeless person sleeping in the stairwell. Service was good. Surprisingly, once we place our order, did not wait long to get our food. Plenty of bean sprouts, they were nice and fresh.

Best Pho in the whole USA! Im serious! . After trying out many pho restaurants in the states, this is my favorite shop ♥️ . Service is efficient and friendly. . So satisfying every time coming here in terms of service and food! Keep up team!

My daughter wanted to eat at Pho Saigon because that was one of her go to places when she was at Univeristy of Houston. It’s a great place for a quick lunch. The food is good! And the atmosphere is very relaxed. We went with a group of six people, and I really enjoyed the vibe and the food. I ordered the Banh Mi and you can see in the pictures what everyone else ordered. Mostly Pho and beef. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I also ordered t he coconut water. I love that drink especially because they add in some chunks of fresh coconut. All in all a great place for a lunch with friends.

👍 Prepare for a flavor explosion that transports you straight to Vietnam! 🇻🇳 The broth is out-of-this-world delicious 🤤, and the noodles are just right. The service is top-notch ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, and the urban vibe 🌆 sets the perfect backdrop for a quick bite or a friendly get-together. Their spring rolls are 🌯 and the iced coffee ☕❄️ is a total game-changer. Two enthusiastic thumbs up! 👍👍

One of my favorite pho places. Like everything else the prices have gone up on the food but still very reasonable. I usually only order a small bowl of pho because it's more than enough. Their spring rolls are excellent and an order of 2 can be enough for full meal by themselves.

Amazing food, great service The serving sizes are big so come expecting to eat a lot You can tell this is quality Vietnamese food. Good place to take the family

Very good pho at good prices. We came with a small group trying the Vietnamese Eggrolls (fried and fresh). Both were good but not standouts. However the pho itself was great. You can get a wide variety with many noodle types as well. It is certainly worth a try!

This place is one of the best places in Houston for pho! It’s always fresh and hot! The best part is that they serve the food super fast and are very attentive. Just a heads up make sure you look at the menu a head of time before you go because as soon as you sit down they will ask are you ready to order! To me I’m a regular and know the menu and what number. Something also to try that they do so well is the Vietnamese coffee is amazing! They do carry out also.

My visit to Pho Saigon was a delightful experience. The egg roll I ordered was packed with flavor and had the perfect balance of crispiness. It truly reminded me of the authentic flavors I've enjoyed in Vietnam. If you're a fan of Vietnamese cuisine, their egg rolls are a must-try!

I am blessed to have known the owner for a decade, search their locations, but when your here downtown try the pho with all the meat varieties and fixins, the beef sandwhich with a lot of hosin sauce (my fav!), soft summer rolls (peanut sauce!!) , and! Fried spring rolls. Take it to go, eat what you can there, try the homemade lemonade, everything!

I came here for the first time! I’m a vegetarian person and the fact that there are some veggies menus here make me feel cozy and fantastic! There are two options: one with veggies and another one with tofu! I got a small veggie bowl and it was enough to fill up my tummy! I drank till the last drop of it! Definitely recommended place as the quantity and the price will be friendly to you! Come all those pho 🍲 lovers in the area! Because of their popularity, they had currently have only pho and egg rolls when I visited here. Cheers 🥂

This place is AWESOME!!! I had the #9 special with all the meats. It saw really awesome. The service was quick professional and kind. I had absolutely no problems with communication with any of the staff. The atmosphere is clean, nice smelling, and very calming with soft trendy music playing in the background (which helped greatly with my constant anxiety). I would highly recommend. Honestly, I didn't bother looking at the bad reviews (if there were any) but if there were, this establishment does not deserve ANY bad reviews!!! The food is very fresh, hot (not spicy unless you add their sriracha sauce), the vegetables (bean sprouts, spinach leaves) are crisp, clean, and fresh. Again, EVERYTHING about this place is totally AWESOME!!!

I think this is the best Pho inside the loop, for consistently rich, hardy broth and all the varieties of combos u can add to the bowl. They don’t skimp on the herbs and sprouts like a lot of places, and they have good, real chopsticks and soup spoons right at the table...which is not always the case with other places. Their service is always quick and sharing tables is often the best choice to get seated at their large family style long tables. Parking is always tough here but I can always find a spot on rooftop lot. Their spring and fried rolls are okay but not my favorite in town... warning, u may find ur usual Pho house to b a letdown after u try a bowl here! I get the small bowl with two rolls, or a large if not in the mood for rolls. Enjoy! Prices are just right.

Amazing Pho

I got the especial Pho with extra Thai meet. It was delicious and for the price, it was just amazing, definitely a must go if you like Vietnamese food.

You're seated super fast, your order is taken straight away and the food comes out quickly. This is a very quick eat, but cheap and tasty!

The fresh lemon drink is just like it is in Vietnam. I had to have two.

I had the veggie broth, which could've had more flavour to it and it was wierd to have carrots in it. But they noodles and other veggies were great, and I would definitely go back.

Went here for lunch. Could have been a little cleaner, but pho was very good. Fair selection on menu. There are other dishes including bun’ (vermicelli bowls) etc.

If you want to get a good-quality Beef Noodle Soup (Pho Bò) or Vermicelli (Bún), you will want to travel to Chinatown. If you don't want to travel so far, Pho Saigon is your best bet. The pho here is great, and the noodles that they add are not sticky and stuck together like other pho places. The noodles come apart easily in the broth and the meat quality is nice. If you don't want any soup as Houston weather is quite hot, you can always go for the the vermicelli with charbroiled meat (I like to get the chicken). Best of all, the prices are quite cheap, so you really get a lot of bang for your buck. If you're a new Viet in town, you can trust this place as my girlfriend is Vietnamese and her family loves this place too. Simply Pho down the street is good as well, but I would definitely prefer Pho Saigon.

What to order:
-#12 Pho Tái Chín (Beef noodle soup with eye round steak and well done lean meat) - $5.15 for a small bowl and $6.15 for a large bowl
-#67 Bún Gà Nuong Cha Giò (Vermicelli with charbroiled chicken and fried egg roll) - $6.50

Pros:
-Value
-Fast service
-Private parking lot (this includes a ramp to the 2nd floor with more parking)

Cons:
-None

For authentic phở bò at reasonable prices, Phở Saigon is the place to go. Nestled into the corner of the Mekong Center on the corner of Milam and Dennis, it's a quick and easy down-and-back lunch destination for downtown workers. All traditional options are available here, including eye of round, flank, soft tendon, fatty brisket and tripe. The large bowl for $6.75 is hard to beat. Try the phở tái nạm gầu gân sách, which has some of everything. The bún (vermicelli noodle bowl) is very good as well. Recommend the bún thịt nướng chả giò, charbroiled sliced pork and fried egg roll, for $6.95. Go for the added fried egg option for just a little more.

Pho was absolutely wonderful. The service wasn't that great. The staff wasn't pleasant. Bad attitudes.

Best I have found in Houston.... So Far.... I stopped by on a Wednesday morning. The place is clean. I was seated right away. Since I already knew what I wanted ordered right away. A beverage, Gỏi cuốn (Fresh Spring Roll) and a large #13 Phở Tái, Nạm (Beef Noodle soup with eye round steak and well-done brisket). It was a better than average Pho. Not on my top 10. It is at least the best I have found in Houston so far. The beef broth had a nice rich flavor. The Gỏi cuốn was just fair. I wish they had not been made so far in advance that the Also the nuoc leo (peanut sauce) that goes with it was good. The biggest issue I really had was after my food was brought out, I could not get a refill on my drink or was looked after in any way. I guess until I find a better Pho place in Houston, I will come back. If anyone knows of a better place, please let me know.

Pho Good!. Very fast and efficient service with modest prices and good food. Hard to beat!

Delicous & Fast & Cheap & Great Service. Our family dined last weekend after my husband has been frequenting for weekday lunches.

This is a casual noodle house. The prices are very low, a large beef pho was $6 and 2 fresh summer rolls were $2.20.

The food was delcious. No complaints.

Our server was attentive and polite. The food came out fast. We had multiple water refills without having to ask. The check came quickly and then we paid at the counter cash register.

Highly recommended for casual fast dining with low prices and excellent service.

For banh mi sandwiches, my new favorite place is Them Hung Sandwich, located in a shopping center ..........that is sorely in need of a facelift (which I suppose is a little like the pot calling the kettle black). The owners also have a restaurant called Paris Sandwich Café located nearby at 8282 Bellaire Blvd., which has essentially the same menu.

My kids are adventurous eaters, but I think most kids would like the noodles that came. The restaurant was happy to get me extra bowls and forks so they could share. (I pulled the noodles and chicken out of the broth to avoid the mess.) The restaurant is casual enough not to worry about a few crumbs. It’s also loud enough to cancel out the squeaks and giggles and occasional whines of my kids.
