The best kept secret on the north side of Houston. Everything is top notch quality. I highly recommend the grilled oysters, the gumbo, and pretty much every dish is great. The shrimp and oyster Po boys are gigantic. Even the garlic infused French bread that they bring to each table is the best in town. Don't waste your time waiting for hours to get seated at Pappadeaux, The atmosphere, the staff, and the fact that you rarely have to wait for a table makes us the perfect little get away even if you have to drive a bit to get there.
Our family has eaten here for years. The food is excellent, and the staff treats us like royalty!
Get the party shrimp there not on the menu but great, stick to the cooked oysters they are amazing also staff at oyster bar are amazing! Jokes convo enjoyable time
My food was bland but at least my sister's was good. I would have reordered but i was so hungry that I kept my food. She got the broiled stuffed shrimp. I had blackened fish and jambalaya. My brother got shrimp po boy over all quiet atmosphere. Family friendly. Our waitor was great. Mom had fried shrimp and the kids burger portion was so worth the price!
Jimmy G's is a local family owned establishment with great service, great sea food, and a great atmosphere. Oysters are fresh and served un a variety of ways. If you have an opportunity to try Jimmy G's, make sure you take advantage of it. Great place to eat or drink at the bar.
Stopped here while on a layover, service was super friendly and the food was great! We had oysters, frog legs, blackened redfish and crawfish. Highly recommend stopping here, we’ll be back if we find ourselves back in Houston
Amazing. Crawfish was good, but the oysters! The grilled oysters are a must have - l grilled right in front of you and literally melts in your mouth...
Food good, atmosphere dated, service ok.. we were skeptical when we entered, the staff at our hotel recommended the restaurant.. however after we ordered and tried the food we were pleasantly surprised! The grilled oysters were good, the gumbo was delicious and the stuffed shrimp were amazing. I'm glad we didn't judge this book by its cover .
Jimmy G's never disappoints... always a must when I'm in town. Been coming here about 30 plus years.
This place is awesome. Some of the best chargrilled oysters in Texas and the friendliest and most awesome kitchen staff you'll ever meet. Love this place highly reccomend for some delicious high quality seafood.
This is a great restaurant to go to, a little pricey but worth the money. The picture I added is the Red Snapper topped with shrimp.
Was pleasantly surprised by the food. Decor hasnt been updated sense the 90s. The Po Boys are the largest that I have had in a long time. This picture is just half of one!
