I love this place! Great wine list with little to no mark up from retail prices, consistent good fare from the kitchen, great people watching. The best staff, Sydney the bartender is awesome as are all the staff. It's a neighborhood fav!

This place is an amazing locals restaurant with the best people watching in town. Food and service is awesome. Thursday is the hot spot!!
Excellent place! Food was so delicious. All the seafood items were super fresh. Some of the best oysters in the city. The deviled eggs with caviar are to die for. If you’re not a seafood lover, they have a wonderful selection of chicken, lamb, and duck dishes. Don’t skip dessert!!!
The restaurant is nice and clean. The staff is knowledgeable, and they are perceptive to those with allergies. The food was enjoyable. I went with a group for a birthday lunch. Everyone found the food to be great. When it was time to pay, they wouldn't split the checks more than twice. This made it difficult to pay for our meals.
I would return as a couple, but I wouldn't recommend this restaurant for more than a few people unless you are ordering the same meals.
Very nice Sunday brunch spot. Although their brunch menu is pretty limited, it is still a great place to try out. Burger was well cooked, mimosas were a sampler size, so had to double up on the order. Servers were extremely attentive.
Great food, impeccable service, fun atmosphere. Service is already great. They have a hilariously great tea selection as well. Dessert is a must have- the creme Brulee is divine as is the chocolate cake. Docking a point as the starters were a little weak... the octopus was a small dish, slightly overcooked. The Caesar salad has great flavor but lack variety, and the charcuterie board was incredibly basic.
Drink menu is festive and tastey. Drinks are strong!
Mains are far better.

Had the pleasure of dining here twice in four days, both times brunch and drinks on two other evenings. The service, ambience, food and attention to detail is impeccable. The bartenders were attentive and flawless. The best part, the Owner Charles made me feel at home on my visit to Houston. This is THE place to be in River Oaks (Houston). Cheers my friends!
The food was very fulfilling and the atmosphere was popping. Everyone was having a good time and it was 4pm on a Saturday. Make sure to make reservations becuase it was packed. Definitely recommend going!
My boyfriend surprised me with dinner at Brasserie 19 for my birthday this month. Our server was attentive, friendly, made helpful suggestions. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and made our experience very special. She also surprised us with a cotton candy dessert with sparklers — which was so fun! We also ordered the caviar, oysters, mussels, tuna tartare, escargot, and the carpaccio. Every dish was delicious. The mussels tasted a bit over cooked but the broth was complex and fantastic. We also enjoyed two fabulous cocktails. We highly recommend Brasserie 19 for a date night or any other special event. We will be returning!
Really good restaurant with a whole bunch of amazing options- today we had pork chop and eggs for brunch and smoked mushroom soup
This place is amazing! I’ve been a couple times for drinks and service is always amazing; the hosts, waiters, bartenders and even the owner personally greets everyone. Great atmosphere for a night out with delicious cocktails and people. I had the St. George Martini and someone suggested the Carajillo which both were..Yum!
Went for lunch for the first time in a long time! Great as always! The oysters were ice-cold and fresh! The presentation always makes them enjoyable to! I also tried the octopus which was incredibly tasty and well seasoned! I plan to get back soon!!!
