Baby Barnaby's is always a favorite. The staff are excellent. The orange juice is so fresh and delicious. The coffee is fresh and hot. And I LOVE their blueberry pancakes. 😋 they have so many delicious options on the menu but the pancake is my favorite. Breakfast tacos are also amazing!!

Tucked in the neighborhood, this brightly colored breakfast joint serves delicious meals for cheap. Can't believe we had the green eggs, waffle, 2 extra eggs, sausage, and a big pot of coffee for $35! Great service and atmosphere, though the wait can be a bit long. And the best part was all the cute dogs that come into the restaurant!

Matt was welcoming from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. He knew all of the menu and gave us great recommendations! My husband got the chili burger and I got the bacon cheeseburger. The taste was amazing and the portions were huge. The real Star of the show was the Apricot Mustard wings and the carrotcake. Holy moly some of the best things I've tasted ! Can't wait to eat here again!

Wow! We had breakfast here and it was fantastic. The service is super friendly and open for a little chat. The potatoes are cross and delicious. If you are around in Houston and looking for an awesome breakfast experience, you should try Barnaby's!

This is exactly what I needed. Waiter was funny, even sh!t talked with my dad which was hilarious.
I like the place, not a pinkies up location, but the food was fantastic & I never had to ask for a refill and the dishes, table and silverware were clean. At the end of the day what more could you ask for…??
I mean a recliner for my food coma… but besides that!

My 2nd time going to Barnabys and once again the meal was fantastic. I had the Chinese Grilled Chicken Salad, hot not cold chicken, and it was delicious. The grilled chicken flavor practically melts in your mouth and was consistent to the first time I had their grilled chicken. The dressing was perfect with its slightly sweetened flavor but not overwhelming. I ordered the small and still could not finish the whole salad. A very satisfying lunch with great service.

Looking on Yelp and found this place. The Apple pecan pecan sounded great. So... Girl’s trip, let’s try it. Arrived about 12:25. They close at 2:00. Had to wait about 30 minutes for a table for 8. The place is small so they got us 2 tables really close. Every single item I sampled from my plate to my families was absolutely amazing. The Banana Walnut pancake melts before it gets to your mouth. That steak was LIFE. No A-1 or butter needed. The pork chops were good. A little more seasoning for me... but that’s relative to your preference. The breakfast potatoes were good. Those grits looked so fluffy from across the room. Clearly I’ve been traumatized by the flat soupy ones I see at Waffle House. This place was better than the Breakfast Klub for me. I will return.

Scott and staff at Baby are the bomb! 💥There are 2 other Barnaby’s even closer to us but this is by far our favorite breakfast spot. It just feels more like the community we choose to live in. Food is always great, and don’t forget to ask Scott about the items on the secret menu! 😉

I am a gay man and this location is special as it’s in the heart of what used to be the city’s gay neighborhood. I loved the feeling of the place but something has changed and not for the better. It, along with the rest of the neighborhood is now becoming gentrified. Last night was the first time I have actually felt uncomfortable in this restaurant. It was once a haven and now it’s just like most any other place where I feel like I am being stared at and I have to watch what I say lest someone’s demon spawn overhear what I might be saying with a fellow companion.

I have only been to the original Barnaby's. Each visit has allowed us pleasant waitstaff who tend to our every need and delicious food served up fresh and hot( if our menu choice was supposed to be hot).
Servings are plentiful ( enough to take home to enjoy again)!
I strongly recommend Barnaby's to anyone who is hungry!

The Waffle Fry Blue Cheese Fondue appetizer was Fabfrigentastic. Buffalo burger was outstanding. First time here but not the last. Overall pricing and food was great. Yes they have beer.

Great neighborhood place! Everyone makes you feel so welcome. Love the Doggie decor! The food is always so good. We had the Mac and Cheese...decadent as it should be, Bison Burger which was great, the Turkey Burger which is elevated by the addition of Parmesan and basil pesto, and piping hot and perfectly cooked shoestring fries. They have great Salads, but it was cold out so we went for the warm comfort food. It was a wise choice!

I recently ate at the Montrose location and the waiter lost my debt card for 20 mins. When he found it, to make up for it he brought Cupcakes that I later found out had green and black mold on the bottom. No real Apology just cupcakes. It was my first time eating at any Barnaby's café.

I’ve been going to this Barnaby’s for 30 years, and I’ve NEVER been disappointed! It may not be as “fancy” as all of the new Barnaby’s, but I love it. Plus, it’s walking distance from my house. The clientele and neighborhood have become more diverse over the years, as Montrose has become gentrified, but Barnaby’s has never changed. Thanks, Jeff & Bob, for maintaining the character of our neighborhood Barnaby’s!
