A very nice fine dining restaurant. The service is excellent, Drew our server was fantastic, the food was superb. The steak cut like butter and everyone was very attentive. Location was convenient, valet parking. I highly recommend Fleming’s for anytime dinner or special occasions. We will definitely dine here more often.
My second experience was even better than the first!!! The food was incredible and the champagne (Veuve Clicquot)and wine (off menu Kistler Pinot noir) outstanding. Our server, Brittany, and Charles, the sommelier, took awesome care of us. We felt special and had one of the best nights of 2017....at Flemings.
Me and my wife’s go to restaurant for special occasions. Staff is amazing as well as the food. Definitely recommend dry aged ribeye or Wagyu Steak with some Flemings potatoes.
Fleming's is the BEST, from the moment you walk through the door, The staff is great, Chef & staff are awesome, professional & great food and wine. Never had a semi-disappointing experience there... don't even think it's possible to. Love the place!
My friends had our annual holiday dinner here. There were 10 of us. All guys. A large and vocal group. The food was really good. I had the bone in ribeye. Delicious. The sides were tasty as well. Wait staff was professional, but not stuffy. They even assisted with taking several pictures of the group with numerous camera phones. Even though were were there past the posted closing time they were very gracious. A very enjoyable evening. Thanks Fleming's.

One of the best dinners I’ve had in awhile. Better service than STEAK 48! My server / bartender Zack took amazing care of us! Expanded my wine pallet with a recommended glass of Post & Beam that paired perfectly with a Tomahawk. Grateful for this dinning experience and can’t wait to return!!!
We went during the week for a nice romantic and quiet bday dinner. There were plenty of open tables however they decide to sit a large party of 8 right next to us when all but 4 tables were in use. Their server kept bumping into me when serving them ….
The food was excellent though, we had the tomahawk steak and the pork chops ! The tomahawk was cooked to perfection and had a nice crust on it. The pork chops were moist and flavorful. Check out their Mac and Cheese with Lobster…. 😋

I made a reservation through OpenTable for 7 PM on a Monday night, however, the reservation was not needed because the restaurant was VERY empty. I’ve personally enjoyed the quietness for a work event. Our waitresses were Brittany and Emily. They were both fantastic. Food was delicious. We had the tomahawk steak, wedge, salad, shrimp, cocktail, and lobster mac & cheese I would recommend everything… 10 out of 10.
We came to try their Tomahawk Tuesday and it was really good. For the salad, we both had the wedge, it was fantastic, the blue cheese was not overly strong but for me, there was a little too much dressing. The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare and so tender. For the sides, we opted for asparagus and lobster Mac and cheese for the additional upcharge. I also ordered a side of brussel sprouts which I was not fond of, quite crispy and dry. We decided on the chocolate lava cake to share and took the chocolate gooey butter cake home. So glad we did cause we definitely would not have been able to finish both. Overall a great dinner.

By far the best steak I’ve ever eaten! The waiter was attentive and courteous. However, they really must do something about the broken AC in what seems like the hottest summer ever.
Susie was incredible! She was my server tonight for my birthday dinner and she made me feel so special on my day. I will definitely be back and will be hopefully sat in her section. 10/10 food, service, ambiance. It was Tomahawk Tuesday and I had one of the best steaks of my life!
Wife and I went for our anniversary. First time visiting. Decided to go and try their Tuesday special. Everything was phenomenal. Our server Kuiyia was excellent in providing us with service throughout the evening and with making our visit so memorable. From providing assistance with ordering to constantly taking care of us until we left, we already decided we are planning to return. Thank you Kuiyia again for a wonderful dinner!
Ambience was nice. Atmosphere was calming and intimate. The staff was polite and helpful. Our waitress name was Kuiyia and she was the best waitress ever!! She was knowledgeable, helpful, very polite and had the most joyous spirit. Thank you so much for taking care of us Kuiyia. I will definitely visit again and I will request you! And the food was soooo 😋
We celebrated our anniversary and NYE at Fleming’s River Oaks location. Overall the food and service was excellent. Our server Michael explained all four courses and it’s ingredients in their set menu precisely and it was one the most memorable private dining experience we have had in a while. I would highly recommend them for any special occasion.
Great tomahawk steak! It wasn't cut tableside like at the Memorial location.
Update 06/24/22 came for the wine tasting dinner and everything was amazing! Must check it out next time they offer it.
Update 01/04/23 last minute reservation for girlfriends bday and they had decorations on the table and complimentary bubbles and chocolate to finish the meal. They always take good care of you here and make you feel special!
For our first time coming here my wife and I were very impressed. The service was impeccable, the food was absolutely amazing. We had the seafood tower for starters and it did not disappoint. I had my first tomahawk steak and they did not disappoint. Our server, Nina, recommended the barbecue Scottish salmon fillet and my wife was very pleased with her suggestion. Of the sides we ordered, I thought the Chipotle Cheddar Mac N Cheese was the best, although the mashed potatoes, Flemings potatoes and Cauliflower mash were nothing to sneeze at. Nina was very helpful and informative in assisting us on our first visit, polite, courteous and intuitively very prompt. The manager came to make sure that everything was in order and to our satisfaction and that was pleasing as well. We will definitely be returning and trying other amazing dishes here. Highly recommend trying this place out if you've never been.
The drinks and French onion soup were really good. I was surprised that I didn't receive a side with my entree. Just chicken. Nothing more. I was not a fan of that. They also need to put on the restaurant weeks menu the carrot cake has nuts in it. I'm allergic and I almost ate, but my spirit told me ask first. So I ended up not being able to eat my desert.
Everything was perfect. We came extra early at opening time and was not disappointed. You have to ask for the happy hour menu. We also got the two for Tuesday special, I got the Caesar salad which had fresh dressing with capers and prosciutto. Our main selection was The New York Strip and Filet mignon. Mmmm... That was everything I needed. We Added lobster to the Mac and cheese, turned out perfectly to taste the seafood in it. I loved the touches of hot peppered plates. I really enjoyed myself and the atmosphere was great. Servers were attentive.
We went for Valentines’s Day 2022. The experience was amazing and as Fleming always do the food and service was exceptional! Sam is the waiter you want when you dine out. The food melted on my lips. That Fleming salad is to rave about. My husband loves salads and advised that this was the best he’d ever had. So much so he ordered one to go. We will definitely be back to dine again and highly recommend this Fleming Steakhouse location on W. Alabama in Houston. They never disappoint!
