Review Willie G's Seafood - Houston

High quality seafood! Small portions but fulfilling. I was a little disappointed that we did not get any complimentary dessert for a birthday. I was also disappointed that the side of Mac and cheese took longer to get than the meal. Overall, the lobster and fish was high quality and good. The appetizer of tiger prawn dumpling had a sweet and sour sauce and almost tasted Thai inspired. The lobster was cooked nicely. We would most likely come back. This place only has valet. Price was about $146 for appetizer, cocktail, and 2 lunches. Nice atmosphere with business casual dress code.

Came here for my birthday dinner and it exceeded my expectations! The food, service, and the cocktails were amazing! The waitress was very attentive, polite, and helpful (when we had questions about the menu). The manager (I believe it was) even came to check up on how everyone was doing! Will be returning! Highly recommend!

Willie Gs is perfect for a date night. Service was great from the time we arrived until the time we left.

This place is unbelievable... Excellent food, outstanding service, bespoke cocktails made by true experienced mixologist, and to top it off our server, Mark went way above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was truly an experience. One example of his attention, my wife couldn't find a desert she was interested in on the regular desert menu, he made a suggestion for something off menu, a manager went over to a sister restaurant, and brought back the most decadent plated piece of Key lime pie we've ever tasted. AMAZING. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tasty food and lovely presentation. I was there for Happy Hour. I was intrigued when I saw mini oyster poboy's. Never saw that before had to get and it did not disappoint. My meal Cesar salad, lump crabmeat, shrimp and lobster. Entree portion small however with a tasty punch!

I’m very picky about crab cakes and their crab cake is by far the best I’ve ever had in Houston! Little pricey but totally worth it if you are actual crab lovers! The oysters are decent sized and very fresh. And their Crème brûlée is just amazing, absolutely my favorite, the flavor, the presentation and even the portion of it.. however, if the service can be improved that would be wonderful! The guy who served us obviously had no passion to work there, or work at all.. just the feeling..

Went for a company party so there was a variety of food. The crab legs and lobster rolls were spot on. They were delicious. The crab cakes were also pretty good. There was a mini chocolate dessert that was good but didn’t really stand out. However, we had a cheesecake topped with blueberry that was exceptional. Service was great.

Great meal and great service as always. If you get a chance try the Mastros signature butter cake it was delicious! It’s from their sister restaurant next door.

I was visiting Houston on business and the restaurant was conveniently located next door to my hotel. I was staying at the Marriott near the Galleria. The venue seems to attract a sophisticated crowd. I was there during Happy Hour so I ate a couple of appetizers. I had crab cakes and spicy shrimp. I drank some well crafted margaritas while enjoying the overall upscale ambiance. I highly recommend this establishment for meetings, dates or an after work drink.

Parking: Valet ONLY. If you LEAVE before 6p (free). AFTER 6P = $7. I got there at 5 and left at 630 (paid $7). Service: I had rspv...so i was seated immediately. My server Fredy was very attentive & helpful when I needed help interpreting the menu. Food: Everyone said the crab cakes were great...so I tried those for appetizer. They nailed it. Incredible. I had a taste for king crab, potentially some mahi mahi...and of course shrimp. So I went with the market king crab (they come with the legs already cut & a succulent garlic butter)...and fried rice. So I also paired the oyster bar trash with it so I could get some additional seafood. The king crab was amazing...the oyster bar trash (not so much). However a lot of people recommend it so give it a shot. It just wasn't what I'd hoped. Dessert: tried tye chocolate diva (bc life) 💁🏾‍♀️💅🏾 & it delivered! Rich & moist. *I could do w/o the raspberry flourish (sauce) but still a winner. Drink: pineapple-sage mule was different. I love a good mule esp with a tropical twist but this one didn't exactly deliver what I expected. Looked and tasted more like a mojito than a mule. Didn't get the heavy tones of pineapple either. Oh well. You win some you lose some. Overall, great spot...decent prices for seafood of its caliber. Presentation was excellent as was service. Worth returning.
