Hobbit Cafe - Houston - Photo album

Good and healthy food with several vegetarian and vegan options! Definitely took me by surprise as a sort of hole in the wall restaurant fully themed from the Lord of the Rings. This place is definitely a must-try if you are a fan of LOTR or just want something unique to eat at. The service could ha
Several people suggested eating here while I was in Houston. I am happy I listened it was a really fun atmosphere. All of the decor and decorations were themed well for The Hobbit! All of the staff was super fun, helpful, and friendly. I got the combo Fajitas, the hummus, and the Mead sampler. I Faj
This place is a hidden treasure! Came across this place accidentally and loved their food and meads so very much. Food varieties are amazing, allergy accommodating and had vegan friendly menu. Their vegan food was so fresh and seemed like was made from scratch on order. I ordered their black bean bu
THOU SHALL NOT PASS... The opportunity to eat here! This is my favorites weekend brunch spot. Regardless if it is summer or winter the full covered patio provides ample space and seating. The breakfast fried potatoes are delicious! Pick them over the regular fries. Also the Boudin egg scramble is
Great place! Everywhere you look there's LOTR memorabilia. Some of the staff were dressed as elves. I highly suggest the Bombur's Bacon Cheeseburger. You can also buy shirts, glasses, and other cool merchandise. The only downside is the parking lot is very small and the outside eating area doesn't h
Expect to wait on a weekend, but its well worth the wait. Very home-y, comfortable environment. The menu is large, with an amazing variety in what's served. The wait staff is very energetic and accommodating, and quick to respond and check on you. I cannot begin to say enough about how amazing the
A Houston dining experience for your bucket list! A delicious place to dine on your favorite enchiladas and burgers with a massive list of mead to try and a cozy Lord of the Rings themed setting. There's indoor and outdoor dining- so you can even bring your dog for the experience! You'll definitely
This is a fun unique place to hang out with friends. Kid friendly and large variety of food. The bloody Mary's were awesome and so were the burgers. The dipping sauce for the fried pickles was awesome (not your standard ranch) and they have white queso (which tends to be a hard find) the atmosphere
This place was delightful! The Meade selection was fantastic and Lord of the Rings atmosphere was great! Service was great as well, if I wasn't from Maryland I'd come back all of the time!
Another place i’ve visited for years. My first time was about twenty years ago. Hobbit themed. Such a cool place. A hobbit kind of place. Nothing fancy. Which makes it perfect. Plastic tables. Wood picnic tables. Older building with a calm energizing vibe. Totally laid back. Live plants everywhere.
I liked it! Great food! I came to town for a couple of days (for business training). So I looked up a couple of places to eat while I was here. As a Lord of the Rings fan, I couldn't pass up an opportunity to try a place called Hobbit Cafe. I was pleasantly satisfied. I had the Balrog Burger with Ur
Service was nice, but overall nothing too over the top. My wife and I stopped here roughly at 1PM and it wasn't too busy. Maybe 3 other families other then ourselves. The atmosphere was pleasant to look at and the staff was polite. The wait for our food was unusually long considering so few people i
This is a really nice and chill place. It doesn't feel like it is in the middle of a town. This is a soothing and calm place. The vibe is so good. We tried their veg enchiladas and hummus platter. 1. Veg enchiladas - really good in taste could get all the flavours of the food. Quantity is good too f
Hobbit Cafe is an absolute dream come true for anyone with a love for healthy food and a soft spot for all things hobbit-related. Walking into this charming establishment feels like stepping right into the Shire, and for someone like me, it's a nerdgasm of epic proportions. The healthy food options
The mead was fantastic along with the service! The king theodens burger & black beans were bland I wouldn’t get them again. But the boudin burger and uruk fries were fantastic!! Definitely plan on coming back soon.
Service was excellent (shout-out to Vanessa & congrats again on recently getting married) and both my food and mead were delicious. Several patrons sitting nearby also shared with me how they have been coming here for years and how amazing the food and drinks are and have always been. I ordered the
I’ve loved this place for years. They were serving vegan in the 70’s. Went by on a whim this past Wednesday and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Bunless salmon burger with a salad as my side. Delicious! Their menu has definitely expanded since I was there last. Nice wine selection including a New Zealand
