We ordered the pineapple upside down pancake and the Snooze Classic breakfast. Along with two coffees.
Coffees were nice and hot, breakfast was good, the bacon was a little sweet but good, and the pancake was surprisingly good, just missing the syrup in my opinion.
Price wise, the Snooze Classic was decently priced. The single pancake was $6.50 which is not bad considering the size and toppings.
Overall, we enjoyed our breakfast and service. Will definitely be back to try the other pancake flavors.
Love a good breakfast spot! Awesome mimosas for $5 on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Our service wasn't top notch. The food didn't come out as timely as we expected, it took about 40 min. On a not so busy, late Wednesday morning, we weren't expecting that. The food was tasty. Drinks were awesome. Parking can be a little tricky.
5-stars all around for Snooze. The decoration, the service, the food, and the cleanliness were all above and beyond. We went early enough in the morning that we didn’t have to wait and there was plenty of parking, but I can see how this place gets packed during busy hours. Extensive drink and food menus. We split the pancake flight and they were some of the best pancakes we’ve ever had. Reasonably priced for a meal that could feed a small army.
The kids’ portion was pretty generous for only $7. I love that the kids can have any flavor for their pancakes. I like how they have few classic meals and lots different plates with a twist. We got there early and there was no wait. Good experience.
Please don’t sleep on this eatery!! Snooze is AMAZINGLY AWESOME!!! The Pineapple Upside Down Pancakes were FANTASTIC. Say no more about the seasonal Pumpkin Pancakes…WOW WOW WOW!!! Everything was phenomenal! The Chicken pan sausage was good! It was seasoned well. There was an entire party going on with our tastebuds! EXCEPTIONAL! We’ll definitely be back!
Have ALWAYS loved this place! Hadn't been in over two years and returned this morning and, thank God, they haven't changed a bit! Bright, cheerful retro decor, friendly staff and, food to die for (as well as great drinks). Had a new item (to me anyway), habanero pork belly breakfast fried rice...what a party of flavors! Well worth the 1100 calories, lol. The strawberry martini mimosa was a nice, light but flavorful and potent addition to my breakfast. Have never had a bad dish nor experience here! Highly recommend for an indulgent brunch experience.
So we went to Snooze on Montrose this morning for breakfast, and it was fantastic. It's now better than before if that's possible! To drink, we had iced americanos with chasers of Elijah Craig (Bourbon) and sparkeling water. The coffee was strong and aromatic, which complimented the sweet, complex flavors of the Bourbon perfectly. As main plates, we ordered their Parmesan-Panko Crabcake Benedict and the Protein-And veggies scramble. They were both superb, but the crab Benedict was just phenomenal! The combination of cripsy panko and the fresh crab over the roasted tomato and the poached egg with the house made cream cheese hollandaise was simply sublime. The protein scramble was super fresh and fluffy and perfectly seasoned and deserves mention in its own right.
This is one of my favorite breakfast restaurants in Houston, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal. Weekdays are best, though, if you plan to visit. The weekend lines are monumental, especially at this location.
Great breakfast spot. Our waiter was very attentive to our needs. Super fast and delicious. I will make sure I go back. I went out of .y comfort zone and had the sweet potatoes with asparagus, red onions and mushrooms with an overeasy egg. Super delicious and low calorie and low sodium. Loved it! My husband had the Belle Bella Bennie, He said it was very good.
I had the Bountiful Budda Bowl with the Orange Cranberry Pancakes. DELICIOUS!!! The pancakes were really flavorful!!! The Budda bowl was ok, I just wish it had a little more flavor to it, but the ingredients were FRESH. Hubby ordered the Pancake Flight and an omlette. He also ordered the Habanero Pork Fried Rice to go. He said everything was really good and he enjoyed it!!! If you're ever in Houston, TX, and are looking for a breakfast spot, I DEFINITELY recommend Snooze. You won't regret it!!!
Loved Snooze!! I’m vegan and was so happy to have options in a breakfast place alongside my husband who isn’t vegan. Delicious and great portion size! Only downside is parking is not great and there’s always a wait to get a table. But that’s definitely a feature of how popular it is!
