Very very good sushi. It was pricey but well worth the price. Everything we ordered we shared and there was not a single piece of sushi left at the end
Chilean Sea Bass is consistently amazing. Cooked to perfection, melts in mouth like butter. Better than Nobu hands down. Truffle fried rice is most flavorful. Sushi is fresh and of highest quality. I hope this place never leaves me
Sushi was good I wish there was less eggs on tops but was very good. The side salad was fresh but the vinaigrette dressing was so overpowerful I couldn’t eat it but the flavor was very good other than that I do recommend the place.
Update; 1/16/22 we visited yesterday as a table of 4. It was super busy, booked out. While the food has always been good, it seemed to be on another level of deliciousness. The cocktails also seemed so improved over what always seemed so good. The spicy edamame is "to die for"!! The service was fantastic. Even though so busy, our waiter was totally on point. Such a great dining experience.
This remains a great Japanese restuarant. The service is always friendly and fast. The restaurant feels spacious and open, beautifully decorated. The food is simply delicious and always artistically plated. A great place for delicious, consistent Japanese food and service.

Awesome food and service. Out bartender Lynn was great. Very attentive and professional. Drinks were excellent!!! Must try the Lychee Martini; the best. Must also try the Miss Chilean Sea Bass. The Fried Dragon Roll was incredible. If you know my restaurant reviews, I tell it like it is. Definitely stop by and check this place out. My lady liked the drinks so much she booked a hotel for two weeks later in the Galleria so that we could come back and have Lynn make our drinks.
First time here. Tried the Red River roll and stuffed mushrooms. Very good food. Great atmosphere and excellent service.
Nothing is wrong with the restaurant, except it is a bit pricy. I spent $110 when I took me and my former best friend female at the time. Of course, she left me two years later but we did have a pretty cool dining experience here. Sushi was good. Desert was meh.
Large and original selection of appetizers and mains. The Miso Chilean sea bass was delicious, perfectly cooked, slightly crispy on the outside and mouth melting on the inside. Finished with Mochi ice-cream!
A premier Japanese cuisine in HTX, delectable food and cocktails, inviting ambiance and excellent service!! People need to try this 🇯🇵
Sage 400 is the place to go for amazing Japanese food, sushi and great service. From the appetizers (the server will recommend special items off the menu) including Toro which was smooth and perfectly seasoned. The Calamari Tempura was soft yet tasty with the right amount of outside crispness! The crowd favorite of appetizers, is the Chilean Sea Bass Wraps. The Sea Bass is prepared just right and is always sooo yummy! To the main courses of Lamb Chops (seared perfectly!) and Sky Diver Roll with soft shell crab, fresh water eel and avocado. This Roll is to die for! The Chicken Katsu was fried to an ideal crispness and served with a katsu yummy sauce. I like Iced Tea and asked for Agave which is my sweetener of choice. So happy they serve it here! Overall, if you want a spot to go that serves mouthwatering food and offers service that makes you feel at home, Sage 400 is for you!
