Very nice restaurant, the staff was friendly and nice, the food was great and the restaurant has a great atmosphere, loved the stuffed shrimp and the shrimp tower was great also
Walter was outstanding. The food was amazing, the ambiance was great, but what really made our night was the level of service that Walter provided. He was extremely attentive, considerate, and just overall went above and beyond in making sure that everyone in our party was taken care of. The crab cakes were the best any of us had ever tasted and the food and drink recommendations Walter offered were all perfectly tailored to each of our tastes. The only disappointment we had during our visit was that we couldn’t give this review more than 5 stars.
Great restaurant! Food tasted amazing and the vibes of the restaurant were so enjoyable. Our waitress was super sweet and constantly checked up on us. I recommend the Jumbo Lump crab cake, it was the best thing we ordered.
Delicious! Most restaurants we've been to the last few months seem to be going downhill, but we were very impressed with Goode Company Seafood. The service was excellent and the food was all cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. We will definitely be back.
Excellent fresh seafood, with some flavors, better than others. Fried Shrimp and fries are excellent! Seafood Gumbo is also Excellent! The Campechana Shrimp and crab cocktail has a very fresh taste and great with tostadas as served, it could use a little bit more spice flavoring. The stuffed crab needs a little more flavor. The Jumbo stuffed shrimp was very good. Can't wait to try more of the dishes.
The services was definitely outstanding! Always had someone walking by to make sure the dining experience was great. The gumbo was decent, but not outstanding. However the stuffed combo was amazing just the right amount of lemon juice added on top sealed the deal. Red beans and the rice was also outstanding.
My mom is a vegetarian. The chef was very kind, made her a customized vegie pasta, with fresh handmade pesto sauce. It's so nice and it really should be put in the menu! Really impressed by the service and the cooking skill.
I ate here with my family and had a good time. The service was very friendly and the setup of the restaurant seemed very casual even though in the outside the restaurant looks like it is very formal. I had the crabmeat fettuccine which was delicious with a glass of wine. The food overall was good, I would make sure all the crab meat is free of shells and other parts of the crab that you’re not supposed to eat. My fettuccine was crunchy at times and I know if wasn’t supposed to be like that. For a group of 7 we spent roughly $220 total on food including appetizers, drinks and food which is not too expensive. I would definitely eat here again.
Server was awesome, felt I should start with that cause it makes a difference to me. Food was excellent, I had the Redfish on a half shell and it was amazing, the Hurricanes were excellent too. Very very good food and already picked what I'm gonna try on my next visit!
My friend and I went to this restaurant for lunch on a Saturday. The crab cake was very filling and the shrimp gumbo was seasoned very well. The only disappointment was that the gumbo didn't contain rice. My friend had stuffed shrimp and rice. We shared pecan pie topped with ice cream. Our waiter was absolutely the best. I would definitely come back for another visit for the crab cake alone.
7/16/22 first visit. Paryy of 2, around 9 PM. Service was great. Nice menu options. Very limited appetizers. There are burger and chicken entrees. Food was lacking in flavor. I had the reddish & shrimp special.. Nice, intimate atmosphere.

First time dining here & I loved it!!! We went about 4pm on a Tuesday which is great!! Not crowded at all! Menu selection is good with plenty of grilled & fried items to choose from. The shrimp empanada that comes with some of the entrees is super yummy & the fried green tomatoes are to die for!!!!!
Staff was super friendly & I'm definitely looking forward to going again!!!
Goode Company Seafood is one of my all-time favorite seafood restaurants in the Houston area. I typically frequent the original location off of Kirby but was on the other side of town and had the opportunity to visit the I-10 location.
As usual, the food is delicious. Their famous Campechana Extra with shrimp and crab is a flavorful, hand-crafted seafood cocktail served with tortilla chips. It a great starter for sharing, but I love these so much sometimes I will just have it as my meal. They offer a variety of mesquite grilled or fried seafood dinners, both of which are top notch.
The waitstaff is always friendly and professional. They will go out of their way to accommodate your needs. All you need to do is ask and they will work to make it happen if possible.
The atmosphere at this location is definitely more relaxed and low-key than the original location which makes for a nice change. They do have a full bar in the center of the restaurant and have plenty of booth and table seating in a nice big open space. The restaurant and restrooms were clean and well maintained.
Really the only negative I can share about my experience on this visit is regarding the host/hostess. It was a slow Tuesday at about 5:30pm. There was no one waiting to be seated, but they did not greet us and seemed preoccupied. I had to approach and engage them to be noticed, at which time they did get us seated. It did seem like maybe some training was going on - I can say this is not the norm on visits to Goode, so I’m not holding this against them.
This place is great for awesome seafood with family or friends.
A favorite of mine for many years. Excellent food and service. Try the campechana!

Today we selected Goode Co. Seafood to celebrate my sister's 58th birthday. She had just arrived at the Hobby Airport from Denver, Colorado where she lives and we drove straight to Goode Co. We were looking forward to a high quality experience knowing Goode Company stands for quality food and great service. Initially we did not feel the service and food was living up to this high quality reputation. I informed the managers and all of them jumped up quickly, showed us they cared about our experience and really went over and above to take care of us once they understood our needs. I'd like to additionally share that Walter C., one of the managers, continued to keep an eye on us, attended to our needs with a joyful and customer centric energy and made our dining experience extra special. It is offering great customer service like this that sets your restaurant apart from the over 5,000 restaurants in Houston, we could have chosen. We appreciate all the interests all the managers and staff showed in having us have a meaningful and special occasion celebration at Goode Co Seafood. We will definitely be back and soon. 5 star attention! Thank you. Lydia 9.20.23
My 1st time visiting GCS. A couple was leaving & stated the waiter was good. After asking the waiter his name, Mel, things started going smoothly. The Cat 5 Hurricane was nice & smooth not to sweet much ice. Oysters were great. The Laguna Madre Shimp with seafood rice was good. I will return.
Goode Company Seafood is a conveniently located right off of Katie highway. The restaurant has a bright, modern nautical theme with an impressive bar in the center and a windowed kitchen at the back. The service is excellent. The food is fresh and brought out very quickly with constant chip and water refills.
I usually join my in-laws here for dinner. My only complaint is that except for the sides and one salad, there are no vegetarian options. They will make a custom avocado po-boy. Still one or two vegetarian options would be welcome, considering most people each year in large groups with varied dietary requirements.
