Always reliable
Had lunch here and received excellent and prompt service with good food to much. Happy and efficient server ensured that the food arrived on time and that I was well looked after.
This restaurant was good but not great. Expectations always high when dining a 5 star property. Lobster salad very nice and well prepared and burrata salad also good. Bread service high quality. Cocktails were definitely lacking; not enough ice and not well mixed. Glassware also seemed dated. The real let down was in 2 pastas; they were good but of in home quality nothing special. Peas were fresh but dish lacked flavor. Dessert average.
Delicious. Right away I noticed how soft and padded the variety was. The service was a little lacking given the amount of waiters running around on a Wednesday morning. The eggs were cooked perfectly. I could have done without the peppers in my potatoes. They were salted but that was all. I like some more flavors. Latte was fantastic. Would love to try Dinner but this place is very high priced for obvious reasons.
This Italian restaurant is way underrated in Houston. My kids love the "choking the priest" pasta Strozzapreti made with beef Ravi from 44 Farm. Lasagne is very good and not made with too much tomato sauce. Chef Maurizio Ferrarase is so particular with all the details. The table side tiramisu is a must!!
Ordered off the restaurant week menu but was slightly disappointed they're only offering two courses for lunch. Oh well. I ordered the caprese salad and the gnocchi di patate alla bava. The salad was good but it was too much mozzarella and not enough tomato or arugula. I like an equal mozzarella to tomato to arugula ratio! It's science. The gnocchi was tasty but VERY rich. It wasn't a huge portion and yet, I still couldn't finish it. I've been to Quattro many times and always enjoy the food. They also usually have pretty good deals and specials available.
Great bartender.... Houston apparently doesn't have much happening on weekend nights. I thought I could shoot a bazooka down the streets on a recent Friday and not hurt anyone -- which is how I found myself at the Four Seasons, since it was one of the few venues still open and serving.
My needs were simple; I needed a couple of glasses of wine and a simple sandwich. Which is exactly what I got. Allen (sp?) was a wonderful bar keep. Friendly, smart, not overbearing. He learned well in the service :-)
Wine prices were not crazy (as too many high-end hotels can be) and my simple club sandwich was perfect. I like simple. I like fresh. And that's what I got.
I can't speak to the deeper aspects of the menu, but as a place to find good food and a great welcome, I'm a fan!
I've been to Quattro twice and loved it. The atmosphere is lovely, the wine selection is impressive, and service was attentive but not imposing. Best of all was the meal itself. Flavorful, with just the right portion size, I have nothing but positives to say.
Wonderful!. I love everything about this place! Great date night. They also have a wonderful wine selection with all sorts of price points. Food and service is wonderful.
Chef Maurizio Ferrarese’s Italian heritage and signature dishes at Quattro certainly impress. The proof of that can be tasted from the very beginning of any meal at this culinary escape from the hustle and bustle of the city just a few floors down. Right from the start, we were greeted by a kind and affectionate server, who ushered us to a table of our choosing overlooking the city streets below. My first bite of f
