Best Italian food my wife and I have had in years in Texas. We were in Houston on a business trip and she found this place on open table and it had over 5000 5 star reviews. Well the food stood up to the reviews and was even better. The service was top notch as well! Next time we are in Houston this is must goto place for us!

I've been coming here for quite some time now. It always feels as if I were at home and my mother is cooking dinner for me. The food is always cooked to perfection. I particularly pay attention to the goodbye greeting after eating. First impression and last impression are the most important in any restaurant. This one meets all the criteria.

This restaurant was amazing! I visited with a friend for dinner for Houston restaurant week and was able to try multiple things from the menu. The lobster bisque was delicious, it had chunks of lobster in the bread bowl. I am not a huge fan of steak but it was highly recommended by the waiter so I tried it, and it was delicious! He told me about getting my steaks medium plus because I prefer not to have pink meat, LOL, and this has just brightened up my year! So good! It also came with spaghetti carbonara with pancetta, which was a little oily for my taste but it was still good. For dessert we got the multi layered brownie, and it was very decadent. Enough to share with two people. I really enjoyed this place the waiters were very nice, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. I would highly recommend.

My son and daughter-in-law gave me my 81st Birthday Celebration on July 8th. If I could give you a Ten Star you would deserve it . Everything was perfect . From the time we walked in , we were politely greeted and escorted to our table with beautiful fresh Roses .The service and food was excellent. .The Best Italian Food I have ever eaten. We will be coming back soon.

We went to this place since we have a dinner with our chancellor. This place is quite authentic, it brought me the vibes of 70s-80s. The food was nice, I have no problem with my food since my expectations went beyond. I asked for medium steak however later I changed my mind and ask them to change it to well done steak, they were happy to do so. My friend’s steak was rare?! even though she asked for medium. I was happy with the customer service.

Very cozy family oriented feeling. Service was excellent as well as food. I had the Ceasars Salad, chicken parm, and lemon tart. The bread is delicious as well. They have valet parking.

For the first time in 34 years, Damian’s is launched a new menu in honor of an old, Italian tradition known as the Aperitivo, a light meal or drink which follows the end of the workday as a kind of warm up to dinner. Since October 16th, you can visit the restaurant’s adjoining Portofino Bar and enjoy complimentary house-made chips tossed in rosemary and sea salt, along with a savory bites menu and signature crafted cocktails, Monday- Friday from 4 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Decent food on the happy hour menu, but the drinks are what shine. They have a lot of sweet, dessert drinks, but I wish I could have tried some more of their savory drinks. Flat bread is good, the Sicilian Cosmo is delish, and the shrimp in lemon butter sauce is classic and bright. Complementary Valet, which is great since midtown parking is difficult.
