I went here for my Anniversary. Why? They have a 5 course experience, which includes a starter, appetizer, salad, entree and dessert. They also have the option to add on rose petals on the table, a rose bouquet, a picture with picture frame. Staff was great and would definitely recommend for a special event. Currently the 5 course experience is $85 per person. My total was roughly $200 due to adding the rose bundle and a few drinks. Very different from the average fancy dinner that would be $300+.

Had an amazing experience, fantastic menu, flavors were on point and service was top notch. kitchen staff do come too often to ask if we were done cooking although we were visibly still working, but chatting. we were having too much of a good time and were probably slower than the average people i guess. absolutely loved the cheese entrée and the dessert chocolate fondue, each piece of cake we dipped was very good. we'll be back for more

Really enjoyed our first time here. Even our boys loved it all. The cheese fondue was so good but the dessert fondue took the medal. I'm not even a huge dessert person. Overall a good time, will definitely be back one day to try different options.

The melting pot has been a go-to for special events in my household. We love going on date nights and for special events with the family. You get an awesome experience and get to do something different with your dinner atmosphere. The food is very filling. I always leave satisfied and happy.

This place was amazing! There are 4 courses and u get to pick what you want. The food was delicious and at first it doesn't seem like much food but once u start eating it's definitely enough we fed 3 on the dinner for 2. They also bring u extra of the food for dipping with the cheese and chocolate if u ask, no charge. Definitely going back it was a great experience with excellent food!

Went for Houston Restaurant Weeks, and it definitely did not disappoint! All three courses were accompanied with different styles, and all courses were fun and delicious.
We got the classic alpine for the first course, which is a classic, gruyere based cheese fondue.
For the main course, we got the HRW traditional and Seafood lovers, which were also a surprisingly decent amount of food! When it first came out, I was worried that it won’t be enough, but it ended up being just enough. The cooking style we chose was Mojo, which was Caribbean inspired. Appreciated how it wasn’t too over-seasoned.
For the dessert course, we got the S’mores, which I would definitely recommend, it was so fun and delicious!
I would say one thing that was interesting to me was that the price point is pretty high end but the atmosphere was very casual.

Overall: Prepare to spend a little extra, but definitely worth the occasional experience.
Price: A little on the higher side, but it’s to be expected as a slightly more ‘upscale’ restaurant. I always feel like you get a smaller portion of protein for what you pay, but you are getting quality over quantity.
Food: the food is always great. You choose a broth, and cook the raw meat in the broth yourself with skewers which is a fun and interactive way to enjoy yourselves. They have great pre made selections or a create your own style. You also get a plate of veggies to throw in the broth and you can request extra veggies at no cost, which I always do just because I never feel satisfied with the protein portions.
Service: Always have great servers, been here several times and they’ve always been helpful with the menu, and never had any issues.
Atmosphere/cleanliness: It appears they recently renovated the place. Walls removed and tables switched around. Typically very clean, clean bathrooms. Nice darker, slightly more romantic setting with led candles all over. Great place for couples.

I have been wanting to go here since last Valentine's Day (2017) but we were unable to go. So imagine my surprise when my fiance said we could go this year. We went this evening (2-11-18) and overall, I LOVED it! We got there early so we had a drink at the bar. This is probably my main complaint: my tipsy turtle I ordered was all juice. I couldn't taste any alcohol and it wasn't made fresh. It was in a pitcher like deal in the fridge. We finally get to our table and our server was great. He was quite patient but he did seem a little lacksidaisy. (Maybe that's just how the restaurant is, I have nothing to compare it to because this was my first time there.) The cheese fondue course was my favorite I think (it was hard to choose!) but they brought breads, vegetables and some Italian meats. Delicious!!! Then came the Caesar salad. It was good but nothing too special. For the meat course, we choose the Coq au Van (unsure of spelling) style and it was really good. I loved the herb crusted chicken. Then came the chocolate fondue course, we just went with the original, which was milk chocolate with peanut butter. They bring fruits and cream puffs. Overall, my experience was really good. It is a little overpriced but I think it's mainly the show of it all. We will return but probably on a regular night, not when there is a special event. Really happy!!!

Atmosphere was “spot on” but tables were a bit cramped for space. Too many dishes & options which covered our table. Literally no room. This was our first time to visit and probably our last. I’m into cooking my own food as I love to cook. But I don’t like to cook when I “go out to eat”. Going out is the beauty of not having to cook. Appetizer was “so so”, salad was good, entree was pretty blahza and dessert was the best. Waiter Jacob was on his game and did us a good job. He was tipped well. Prices are overrated for the meal. Was it enough for me to return? Nope.

First time at this place and I was impressed. Such a great atmosphere, amazing set up, entertaining, a delicious food. It was quite the experience. We went for my birthday with a group of friends and it was perfect, we all had a good time. But I can also see it as a romantic place too.
