Chama Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse

Apologies in advance for the lengthy review�My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary over the weekend and had dinner at Chama. Our attendant, Omar was the BEST! He was very attentive without being intrusive, and was extremely respectful and polished. As our evening continued, Omar asked if there was a specific meat that I liked the most; however, I could not remember the name/cut to save my life. He had nearly 10 servers stop by our table in an effort to find out which one it was. Come to find out, it was Fraldinha! We could not even fathom having another bite, but Omar suggested we try a few other meats we had not tried yet. Their pork ribs were to die for!!!! Absolutely delicious! We noticed it was 10:15 pm, closing time was 10:30 pm, when Omar asked if we were going to take advantage of their patio. We told him we knew they were closing soon and were going to get ready to leave. He insisted we stay and told us not to worry, it was no rush at all. My husband and I never mentioned it was our anniversary until we were asked if we were celebrating anything special to which we responded our anniversary. Omar then brought out a dessert plate with “Happy Anniversary” written in chocolate. Their Cheesecake crème brûlée was perfection! As we gushed over how beautiful the plate looked, the manager Guilherme aka G, made it a point to wish us a Happy Anniversary. He later returned to check on us and we made it a point to express our gratitude regarding Omar and the exceptional service we received from him. We have visited a couple of Brazilian steakhouses over the years(who shall remain nameless...one of which begins with an F and ends with Chão�), but never returned as it wasn’t all that it was cracked up to be... you would think that the service would be phenomenal with the money that you’re spending there on dinner. Omar, “G” and those that we encountered at Chama that evening definitely raised that bar! The manager, G asked if we would be joining their patio and i told them we couldn’t as my phone was dying and needed to call our Uber to pick us up. He said he had a charger and would be happy to charge my phone. He took our glasses and walked us to the patio. When we turned back to look for Omar, G said not to worry he would be coming with us too lol! (We had a little separation anxiety for a minute) My point is, we appreciated the superior level of service we received and will DEFINITELY be returning for dinner soon!!! Enjoyed every moment from the time we walked in until the time we left out. Everything was delicious & the staff was all very amazing. The establishment is absolutely beautiful on the inside..You will not be disappointed in any way coming here. The price is affordable and they do have private rooms for party's. This place is a must visit if you come to Houston.

Food was great! They have a salad bar, I just decided to have a small wedge salad because I wanted to save room for the steaks! I had the sirloin, ribeye, picana and filet, my favorite was the ribeye! But they were all so good! I consumed very little, so to me it was not worth it since I don’t have a big appetite. If you’re a good eater this place is a must because the meats are ALL delicious! The service is excellent! Many waiters make sure you are always taken care of.

Come hungry, leave happy. The food is very good. They have a good system and a nice selection. They bring to your table various foods so that’s nice because you get to try things you may not have if you had to choose off a menu. Cocktails are very good too and pricing is equal to the experience. 👍 The service is very kind and timely. They don’t keep you waiting with an empty plate very long. It is a nice atmosphere for any occasion.

It's always an amazing dining experience when we stop by Chama Gaucha; hands down the best Brazilian steakhouse in Houston. The service is impeccable, and the meat is seriously on point. Their salad and cheese bar is simply divine. You get the best of the best in Meats, Cheese and Wine at Chama Gaucha. It's my kinda place! Parking is valet and based off tips so don't waste any time driving around, looking for a space. They take whatever you will give, there isn't a set fee. I tried the jolly rancher martini and I must admit I was very pleased.

If your looking for a Brazilian Steak house, Chama Gaucha is the BEST in the area bar none! If your looking and someone recommends the highly over rated fogo de WHO? Don’t listen and come here! The food - they don’t just give you a slice. They give it to you whole if you want it. They give you enough to be enjoyed vs their competitors who provide such a thin slice. Your always wanting more. The House Special is my favorite, the flavors are on point! If you like gamey foods, then you’ll definitely want to try the lamb chops. There wasn’t one dish out of the 3 of us that we didn’t enjoy! Just an excellent selection of meats and flavors. The service - wow, we had 3-5 servers at any given time. 2-3 attendants making sure we were taken care of on any of our needs, refills, drinks, sides, etc. You will not be disappointed here! The Atmosphere - is beautiful inside, white linens on the tables, relaxing environment, and more. The only complaint I could muster is that, depending on where you sit and how many are in a party. The rooms can get kind of loud, but otherwise it’s perfect to still hold a conversation. Parking can be a hassle, there isn’t enough spots for the area or business. Valet would definitely be best. But once you get in, it’s all worth the wait. Apologies for the pics, did the best we could as we had so much come and go.
