the food was excellent, i ordered a NY strip my bf ordered a fillet. the fillet was tender and delicious, the strip was well seasoned and also amazing. the sides were perfect. we had the creamed spinach, the spinach was not over cooked. the dessert was incredible. the service was amazing the waiter checked in enough. the food was cooked to perfection.

Wow! The ultimate place for food, drinks, and fine dining! Our server Guy was the best ever! He made sure what we ordered was how we liked it and made excellent recommendations. He took time to listen to what we liked and the accommodated my food allergy without compromising on taste. This will be our new anniversary dinner destination. Guy, you deserve a raise!

My favorite steak restaurant in Texas! That says a lot. The beef is so juicy and tender with a nice crisp on the outside. Service is wonderful especially a guy named Guy. Make sure to make reservations. I will definitely be back here whenever I want a nice juicy tasty steak. I hope they bring back the seared foie gras though! They recently changed their menu to a foie gras mousse and that wasn't my thing even though it still tasted good. I appreciated that the server and manager took my feedback on our dining experience. The bread is so fluffy and soft on the inside. They also gave me a huge piece of cheesecake on the house for my birthday!

The steak cooking was perfect. The service was excellent. The wine list is impressive.
The only negative point is the receptionist. We had a reservation and we had to wait more that 20 min in the corridor without knowing who will contact us and how long we will have to wait….not expected from a place like that.

Always a perfect experience! Excellent beef. Top wines! Low lights, piano, and old photos around walls. Devil eggs 👌🏻. Lobster, spinach and mac&cheese to share… You deserve quality ‼️
If celebrating a special day, they will give dessert as complement.

I had an amazing dining experience! The steaks were cooked to perfection, and the lobster was absolutely delicious. The sides were perfect for sharing, and everyone enjoyed them, especially the lobster. The atmosphere was vibrant, with a talented piano player who added lively live music. The wait staff were incredibly helpful and made the night truly memorable and enjoyable.

So how do your review your favorite restaurant, anywhere, any state? Seriously the best. Ever. Service. Food quality. Ambiance. Easily the most comfortable atmosphere, especially the bar. Piano bar, wow - who does that anymore? Meat quality cannot be duplicated, always above any of the name brands (Morton's, Ruth's Chris, the Palm, Mastros, you pick). The patrons have a fun vibe you'll make friends, and if you're the quiet type the bartender or server will introduce you to a long time regular to make you feel welcome and as if you're home in your own dining room. This review applies to both Houston Galleria and Dallas Fort Worth (not been to the downtown location but assume it's similar given ownership).
Once you walk you are greeted to a MEAT chest with beautiful cuts of beef - photo worthy! I've also gone fish. Broiled Salmon. Wow. Secret menu item try a double cut pork chop, cut from the front of the pig, making it the delicious pork porterhouse so the double-cut pork chop is my favorite anywhere when it's on the menu. I don't even think it's on the regular menu.
If visiting Texas skip the chains. Just go here. Reservations a must weekends. Bar first come first served. Get there 4:30ish.

My wife had the Bone-in Filet, I had the Dry-aged New York Strip. Best steak we have had!
We drank Agrapart 7 Crus, Suenen La Cocluette, Bollinger La Grande Anee, Bereche & Fils Mailly, some Ratafia at the end and brought a bottle of Egly home!
The service was phenomenal and we had 2 different Sommeliers helping us out. This is now our favorite restaurant for sure! I’m so glad we got exposed to it! Can’t wait to go back!
