Cajun Boilers has always wanted to be a Hot Springs tourist destination. They had billboards advertising their restaurant. I've eaten there several times and the food has always been pretty good. On my last visit I had the catfish topped with crawfish etouffee and it was very tasty. The spicy boiled potatoes were moderately tasty, but I was surprised they weren't served in a spicy butter.
The ambience is a little underwhelming and the waitress I got seemed a bit abrupt, but the food was good enough that it still ever up with ⭐⭐⭐⭐.

This place is awesome! Down home eatery with excellent cuisine! Love dining out back on the patio! Excellent service and delicious seafood and sides! Can’t wait to stop again!

Once again my 5 star rating. The best boudin balls ever, crayfish and fried shrimp were awesome. Coleslaw was different but very good. No room for dessert.

Cajun Boilers is one of my favorite places in Hot Springs!! The gumbo is very good and the service is good too! A must try in Hot Springs! Nice patio overlooking the lake too!

It was okay.. I remember coming here about ten years ago and it was extremely good food. The service was excellent. Prices are a tad bit steep but you are in a tourist town. The steak was an 8oz "Cajun" ribeye. I much rather pay the same amount and get a 20oz bone in prime cut ribeye from Texas Roadhouse for about the same price. The Cajun steak was thin and seemed bland to me. I never order steak sauce but I actually dipped my meat into my salads leftover blue cheese dip. The shrimp were definitely better than red lobsters and were quite tasty. I enjoyed the blackened fried potatoes as well.

We love Cajun Boilers. The food is always delicious. Late season crawfish were fantastic. Wife had the grilled chicken and shrimp scampi and it was great. We hot there early and missed the wait. It's definitely worth waiting for. If I had to list anything less than five stars, the draft could have been a few degrees colder. I'm probably just used to chilled mugs. It was still fine. Great place. Will definitely return. You should try them.

Hey, it’s boiling hot outside so get up and go to the Cajun Boiler and get you a big ol’ tankard of beer, sit out on the deck and watch the lake mosey on by.
34 ounce beer mugs can’t be beat.
Might think about a bowl of gumbo or a bevy of shrimp.
They open at 3 pm so go early and avoid the wait.
Don’t forget about parking in the back , just turn by the east side of the building
GO GO GO !!!!

Cajun Boilers has always been our favorite southern seafood restaurant. The food is amazing. The building not so much but the food is incredible.

We arrived at the restaurant at around 6:40 and waited only about 10 minutes until we were seated. We had a party of 16 so we expected to wait a little while for our food since the party was so large. We waited almost 2 & 1/2 hours for our food and when it arrived some of the orders were completely wrong, we were missing some of our orders and the food was also cold. The plating was also thrown together and the food was falling apart. When we told the server, she just looked at us and asked us what we wanted to do. Once we spoke with a manager she also asked us what she wanted them to do about it. We were in the restaurant for almost 2 & 1/2 hours just waiting on them to get our food, that we did not eat because it was cold and incorrect. The server gave us our checks and took forever to return to our table to receive our payments so we attempted to pay up front. When talking to the managers she just said don’t worry about paying. An older gentleman came out of the kitchen and yelled at us stating “y’all got free food, why are ya’ll complaining ”. Paying for food is not a problem for us at all but we sat for 2 & 1/2 hours just waiting on food that was cold and incorrect. The service was absolutely horrible and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Also at the same time of us having issues another table had the same issue and when they asked to speak to a manager the server laughed at her. I agree with the person that stated “if I could rate this restaurant less than one star I would”

We came tonight and sat on the deck. There is a dumpster close by with doors open so you get to smell garbage the entire time. Not to mention the horrible flies and being eaten alive by bugs. We had to wait over an hour for our food and endure this atmosphere. The people next to us came 15 min later and got their food before us. Portion size of the alligator appetizer was a very small and served with cocktail sauce. I had the seafood platter. Their batter is not even seasoned with salt and pepper. My daughter had snow crab that looked to have been in the freezer a decade. My husband’s mahi mahi was the smallest plate and again not appetizing. Nothing was served hot. There was a dried film on my tartar sauce as if it had been sitting a long time. Our drink glasses had black pepper looking substance caked on the inside so we had to get those replaced. We will not return.

The food was good I had 1/2 dozen oysters red beans rice and a link of boudin.... we are from lake charles ,la and the only thing I would say is the boudin could have been seasoned more it didn’t have any flavor... but over all the service was great our waitress was friendly her name was Casey

Best place that I have found in years. I'm from Louisiana and this is by far the best place with great food and a great waitress.

I would give it a negative 5 if i could. By far the worst food ever!!!!! The crawfish were all soft and tasted either dead or frozen before being boiled!! My friends wife got the steak that was spoiled which smelled like a dead animal that's been on the side of the road for a week. If you want good Cajun food I would recommend going somewhere else. If you want food poisoning then this is the place for you!!! I would rather eat tide pods and drink bleach than eat here again!

I had the best experience tonight at Cajun Boilers! My waitress Britany Pierce had outstanding customer service skills! I will ask for her every time I go! Love this place and the great view! Britany Rules!!!!!!! Xoxo

Service was good. However, this is the only positive thing I can say about this restaurant. I had the boiled crawfish and they were by far the worst boiled crawfish I've ever had. Now, I know crawfish and these were either frozen before boiling or dead before boiled. Mushy and a lot of straight tails.
My wife had the cajun ribeye and it smelled rotten like decaying flesh.
If you value your health and perfer to enjoy what you are eating stay clear however if those appealing this is your place.

The crawfish was good slow to get to the table, and not the best seasoned but good, as for the crab legs and shrimp I would definitely pass, shrimp was very mushy, and most the crab legs didn’t have meat in them. We told the waitress about it she said they have that issue a lot, although she did bring more out but those were just as bad.

If I could rate this restaurant less than 1 star, I would! We were seated when we walked in, about 4:40 pm, after spending part of the day at the Races. The restaurant wasn't that packed yet, as we had expected it to be, but several came in after us and it became full. We decided on this restaurant, as suggested by our taxi driver, and we all loved the idea of "fish, shrimp, etc" for our evening meal before heading out to our down-town destination for drinks. We were met by our waitress and ordered our drinks (tea and water) and received them, as expected. We placed our order and it took about 15 minutes to get our salads which came with our meals ordered. Then we waited,,,,and waited,,,and waited...it was 5 minutes short of an hour when our meals came out!!! We were told, by our waitress, that there was a "party" they were serving and that our food would be out asap!! Well, when the food arrived...our shrimp was cold...our catfish was luke-warm...the hush-puppies were the same. Our waitress was slow at filling our drinks, which were empty most of the time. I don't mean to be hateful. I normally don't leave bad reviews at restaurants...but this was crazy!!! We talked about our experience coming home, cause we traveled nearly 2 hours to visit their area, and normally we will give everyone a second chance....BUT NOPE... not going back again!!!

I was in Hot Springs for the first time in 2 years, and my first thought was I have to head to Cajun Broilers. I wasn't disappointed the food was delicious. I Love the Cajun grilled shrimp, the gumbo, and the red beans and rice. For dessert key lime pie awesome. Prices reasonable, and view of the lake great. Do not be scared because the front isn't fancy, but come for the food not the building look.

It has been a while since I had been there. But the service was outstanding. Love the laid back atmosphere. It was early in the season for crawfish but they were pretty small and kinda mushy. But the catfish and shrimp were wonderful.

Best place to get food poisoning in Hot Springs! Steak was spoiled. Fish had NO seasoning and crawfish were mooshy and flavorless . First stop after dinner was McDonalds.

We had the best time at Cajun Boilers Saturday night. We got there at 7:30 and only waited about 15 minutes to be seated. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. Our food was great, as always. Just a wonderful experience after being on the lake all day. This is one of my favorites!
