The Diner - Horseheads - Photo album

A train carriage converted into a Cafe in a town called Horsehead. I dropped in for brunch on my drive between NYC and Buffalo. The carriage contains a lot of original features, sliding carriage doors, small restroom, and wooden booths. The menu is good American breakfasts cooked fast and well. I
We were looking for an early breakfast and stumbled on this historic diner. The food was delicious, portions large, service outstanding and the atmosphere was fun and lively between the staff and locals. What a rare treat.
Food was delicious! Service was friendly and quick. Space is limited since it’s a small diner, but it’s worth the slight wait if there is one.

This was a quintessential diner with wonderful service, took a some bit of time as they were packed. But we had an incredible medium rare hamburger (frequently overdone) and a high stacked BLT that was just wonderful. The homemade fried chips were excellent - order them over the fries that were good
