We came in by seaborne sojourn exploration ship. Beautiful sunny day with lovely clouds. I really did not know what to expect. There were plenty of excursions to do but we chose to walk the area around the new pier. The old cannery is now a very nicely tourist zone for all kinds of things. Clothes,

Super touristy. But it's to be expected. There is plenty of natural beauty to be taken though.

Great day! Especially liked the Cookhouse restaurant with patio seating on the beach with the guitar. The wildlife tour was incredible!! The bears showed up and the guides took really great care of us!

Wonderful view, and peaceful environment, its one of a Must place to visit

Very small place that is very popular because has the largest Zip rider on the world. Be aware, is consider like that because it has 6 or 7 lines that if you could put them together will be very long. Goes fast as is very entertaining. Something you have to do at least once in your life. Be careful!

Beautiful location- tourist trap for cruise industry- make sure you try the king crab in garlic butter on the pier before travelling into Hoonah to see the real Alaska

A brilliant facility built by the locals to encourage ships to come to their specifically built port... but do book a bear tour with the independent providers of trips.
