This is the best place I never ate. The food is probably great. The staff might even be better. If you are from the area, you should really go try the Oak Street Pub. You more than likely will not be sorry.

Best place to sit out on a clear day with a hot toddy and read a book! Dogs are welcome in the "courtyard" which is even better. Shout out to Deb for being kind and attentive, but knowing when a patron needs Zen time. :)

Glad I didn't read reviews of this place before we dined here, otherwise we might have skipped it. I'm not sure whether our experience was an anomaly, all the same we had a lovely experience at Oak St Pub! It was a warm, sunny day when we dined here and we wanted to find a place to eat where I could bring my dog so she wasn't sitting in a hot car. Oak St Pub has a big outdoor seating area with lots of shaded and sunny seating options, and lots of room to tie up a dog. We both ordered fish tacos and had a very pleasant interaction with one of the servers while we waited for our meals. The food arrived in a timely manner, and the server who brought it out to us was incredibly friendly and helpful- letting us know how the fresh lime served alongside our tacos helped to improve the sauce. Fish tacos can be really hit and miss, especially at pubs where I've often felt greatly overcharged and very underwhelmed by the food. This was not the case at Oak St Pub; the fish was warm and crispy and very flavorful. We ate all our tacos quickly and in silence- it was a great meal after a long hike.

Quaint old world style public house with some swanky outdoor seating as well. Love the belly up bar, but the most stand out thing about this place is the menu. Been several times and have yet to pick something from their food choices that I didn't devour. Full bar and decent beer selection. A lot more options in their fridge than on tap, though.

Great locals kinda spot... One of only real beer gardens in Hood River. Laid back vibe. Good food. Dog friendly
