We had Kahuna combo. It’s the bomb!!! Juicy Kailua pork and tender beef. The chicken is smoky and delicious!! The combo comes with two scoops of rice and two scoops of macaroni salad. $13 and a huge size! We were here to visit from Southern California and are definitely glad that we stopped by!!

The only truly smoked item on the menu was the ginger beef- smoke ring on flank steak is unique to observe, hence not leaving one star. The Cole slaw was generic and too sweet, the Mac salad was relatively flavorless, eat it if you enjoy mayonnaise and stale black pepper. The white rice was over steamed and underseasoned. The most egregious offense this place committed was their “rib special” - for a place with a smoker out front puffing away, these ribs had absolutely zero smoke flavor, and were clearly not salted. The only flavor was paprika- which is what was caked all over it. No smoke, plain rib. Huge disappointment.

The kahlua pork is the star here for me. Tender and moist, the pork is smoked to perfection. Outside Lilo's is their giant bbq and they were cooking huli chicken while we waited. It smelled like Hawaii. The bbq sauce was reminiscent of having this similar plate on Oahu; sweet with that hint of spice. I could eat it on any meat! Scoops of sticky rice and mac salad were the sides. The mac was creamy with crunchy bits of fresh veggies. A slice of fresh pineapple finished the meal.
I'm prepared to drive back from PDX to eat this again. Get takeout and eat it down on the waterfront. Mahalo!

Had the Kahlua Pork and it was bomb. Mac and cheese had a nice amount of black pepper, rice was slightly sticky and perfectly cooked, and the pork was so tender. Large smoker out front so you can see the meats being smoked/cooked. Very fresh tasting.

Absolutely stop here. A $13 plate can definitely feed two. The mac salad was excellent.

Took a motorcycle trip on a Monday wanted to go to the larger Breweries in town but they were closed so headed back west from downtown, and glad we did, great HI food. Nothing fancy, good prices and service. Folk behind the counter are still wearing mask, which erks me because as they repeat your order, you cannot understand them

Stopped while driving from Idaho to the coast. My 7yo proclaimed we were eating here the next day too. Had to explain that we wouldn’t be in the neighborhood. Needless to say, the whole family enjoyed the food. Great little spot with pretty quick service.

What a gem! I had plenty share of Hawaiian restaurant and I would say this is one I will definitely come back. We ordered teriyaki chicken, ginger beef and Asian chopped salad, all of them with very reason price and great taste. Meat are both moist, tender and smoky. We finished most even we didn’t even started hungry at all!
