Doesn't get any better than this place. The Sriracha fettuccine is the best thing ever!! It's got a very home town feel to this place. The steak here is the best period. Very family friendly. I would highly recommend.
It's the best restaurant in Hood River bar none! The rib eye is to die for, the crab ravioli absolutely delicious, and my opening cup of clam chowder made me feel like I was in PTown, Mass. Cape Cod! Deserts where superb! What a wonderful Valentine's Day 2018 with my two gorgeous ladies! I will be back....again!
My boyfriend and I just had dinner here. The steak was phenomenal and the garlic mashed potatoes will ruin you for all other potatoes. But the best part of the meal was the amazing wait staff. Our waitress was incredibly attentive and friendly. I would recommend to anyone wanting a great meal with a friendly atmosphere.
Excellent little steakhouse with some great seafood as well. Service was outstanding as well. We didn't feel rushed during the meal even though it is a small space. Although the decor is dated don't let it turn you off from coming here and enjoying the great food. Also note that this space is down a pretty steep stairwell so it is not wheelchair accessible and I did not see an elevator.
Seriously THE best steaks in Hood River & probably for miles around. The atmosphere is quiet and comfortable and the wait staff friendly and knowledgeable. Call ahead for reservations. This is a favorite for us and as many times a we have gone we have NEVER had a bad experience. I highly suggest it!

Make a reservation! Got here early, but people coming in after got turned away because there is limited availability. The crab ravioli with creamy pesto was so delicious! Pretty standard pricing and great service.
This is our favorite steak spot in Hood River. The person who was our server is a super nice guy, I think he might be the owner but I am not sure. The ambiance is really nice and on the darker side, which we really like, it is nice and romantic. The food is always great! We usually get salad, steak, potato and dessert. The prices for food and wine are very reasonable. We highly recommend The Subterranean if you are ever visiting Hood River
Tried all of their no meat dishes and my fav is the sriracha linguine. Even the side salad was thoughtfully made. <3 Thanks y'all.
