Went to the Mesquitery for our 46th anniversary dinner. LOVED IT! We had the best server, Lydia who was so sweet and checked on us regularly. The food was phenomenal as was the service! Go a free dessert for our anniversary and made to feel special for spending our dinner hoir with them!
Love the food! Love the people! Love the atmosphere! We love to come here whenever we get a chance (which hasn't been much lately)! I highly recommend the steaks, but the scallops are some of the best I've ever tasted!
My wife and I had dinner there during our stay in Hood River and we thought it was excellent. A fine meal with superb service. The Polish beer was awesome. Thanks very much.
The clam chowder was fantastic! Best I've had in the Pacific NW. Steak was great and the lemon cheesecake--well, it just topped it off. Highly recommend.
This is THE place we go for Prime Rib. One of these days will have to try one of the other choices. Also a great chance to try a variety of Polish beers. Excellent service and staff.

Had the BEST Anniversary Dinner tonight at the Mesquitery with Trevor Orr...will have to revisit very soon for another GREAT dinner. Food was fantastic and service was great.

Make a reservation if possible. This is a very busy restaurant. We were 2 adults & 1 child. We shared the 20oz steak with 3 sides & garlic bread. It was very tasty and just the right amount of food. We then shared a milk shake and the apple crumble dessert. Both were delicious. Husband ordered 2 oyster shooters & enjoyed them.

High end cost for low end feel but worth it for the taste.
Let me start by saying the atmosphere is low to medium end from my experience. We were sat directly across from the hostess table. There were numerous flys that were harassing us during our dinner. My son even squished one on his children's menu which nearly made my wife want to leave. Yet I'm glad we stayed. Food was delicious and well cooked.
Newyork Steak special 10/10. - perfectly cooked. Cheese was bold flavor but paired well with steak.
Loaded baked potato 10/10. - crumbles of bacon, melted cheese, and a side of sour cream and butter on a perfectly cooked baked potato.
Cheese quesadillas for my 4yr old son were amazing. 10/10. - shredded chicken paired well with melted pepper jack cheese on a crisp tortilla.
Prawns 9/10 - great flavor from grill not overly seasoned. They were a smidge overcooked.
Lava cake 8/10 - well presentation, but not made in house. Smaller portion but perfect for a small after meal dessert.
Plating was beautiful on all dishes.

We were visiting from out of town and made a last minute online order with no expectations of whether this place would be hit or miss. On a Saturday night, the food was ready for pickup in less than 30 minutes, and EVERY dish we ordered was perfect. Considering we ordered for 5 people and a variety of things from the menu from ribs to sandwiches to pasta, that was shocking. The prices were fair, the convenience was great, the food was fantastic! Definitely coming back here next time we're in town!
Best meal I've ever eaten in my life. The filet was done to medium perfection! The seafood dish my wife had was absolutely amazing. Normally the scallops and prawns get over cooked and these were perfect. I can't wait to come back!
Even better than we were hoping! Chicken schnitzel for my friend and fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken for me!
We were visiting Hood River and asked several people where we should eat....the Mesquitery was suggested by several so we tried it. It did not disappoint. One of our party has a severe allergy to onions (YES...an allergy and not an intolerance) and our server was so helpful and patient. We couldn't have had better service (Monica is a GEM). The food was delicious and well seasoned. We look forward to a return visit as it is excellent all around.
Great service the waitress was very attentive to the table, they even cook the steak right in sight of the booths!
Not only was the steak prepared as requested but the loaded potato was delicious as well.
We also participated in desserts which also did not disappoint.
Definitely a place to try if you have never been.
We will definitely stop again soon.
The food was fantastic! We had the salmon and porterhouse which were both cooked perfectly and a great portion size. Monika was absolutely terrific and very welcoming, we will definitely eat here again! I love Gabby!
