A special evening at a classy place! Beautiful inside and out. We dined on the outside deck with a gorgeous view of the river. The menu, food, and service was fantastic. Will definitely visit again next time we're in Hood River!
Loved it!. On our last visit to Hood River, nothing was striking us for dinner so we drove around for a while, walked around for a while, then spotted Three Rivers (we had never heard of it before believe it or not).
We decided to give it a try and are very glad that we did.
The evening was warm, though turning stormy, but customers were still being seated on the deck if they preferred. The restaurant was so crowded that we opted for the deck. We had the perfect vantage point for watching a lightening storm form over the mountains.
The atmosphere was wonderful, the service good, the food excellent. We'll definitely make a return trip.
Great View. Nice place. Linen tablecloths inside, great deck outside with view of river north to the bridge.
I have not had a full meal there in awhile, but what we had on 8/26/2011 hit the spot.
Beautiful view. This place has good food. Not wildly excellent, but good. Staff is a little on the slow side. However, if you have some time to relax and sit on the deck on a nice summer afternoon with the wind blowing through the air, watching the mountain, river, wind and kite surfers is quite spectacular.
We were a party of 8 including 2 kids and a baby. The staff was very accommodating and the food was excellent. Everything was fantastic, the fish & chips, Mediterranean Pasta and Salmon were particular favorites... We will make the trip from PDX to eat here again.
Extremely friendly staff, tasty local beers on tap, and all the food we tried has been really quite great, and for the price, which is reasonable, it's even better
3 Rivers Grill is located on 3rd Street in Hood River, which basically means the downtown area. It's a great little place we have been to many times. We drive back and forth between Portland and Eastern Oregon to visit family and we plan our eating stop around Hood River and all it has to offer. And at least one way, coming or going we hit 3 Rivers Grill. The lunch menu is much more affordable and it has an item that my husbands just LOVES. Mexican Fish Wrap at 3 Rivers Grill He always, and I mean always, orders the Mexican Style Fish Wrap. It's like a giant fish taco with breaded fish, slaw and chipotle sauce. It is quite large and amazing. I won't lie, it's almost embarrassing to go there with him to get this Fish Wrap. It's like a secret love affair he has with this thing. He stares at it, eats it slowly and makes noises. It's like he's cheating on me. He won't even talk to me when he has the Fish Wrap in his hands. One time I made the mistake of asking if he
Wonderful menu choices. Terrific service. Pretty outdoor seating with a view. I had a beet salad with shrimp, and my fiancé had steak. The prices were very fair for the setting and quality.
Can’t wait to return.
When you go here you're going to feel like you're eating a step or two above casual -- and that's enough for some people. A restaurant in a converted house, accompanied by outdoor dining has allure -- and the prices will keep out the riffraff.
The food is fresh and that's something to be proud of. However, a lot lf the dishes utilize a formula that is, IMO, a bit overplayed. Protein, mashed potatoes, ubiquitous veg, and an ample drizzling of sauce that dresses it up and lends character. So if you and your dining mate are the sort that like to order two different things and share/swap, you need to be selective, or you'll be eating much of the same.
Everything was good, but, taken comprehensively, the menu didn't quite wow.
4.5 stars. Lovely patio for outdoor dining with a great view. Tasty & affordable mixed drinks, large salad portions, upscale pub food, fresh fish. Asked for a med-rare burger, was served beyond well done.
We had lunch on the patio and the view was gorgeous. Food and service was really good. We had fish and chips, crab and lobster cakes and the chicken salad. The crab cakes were a little small but the flavor was good.
My husband and I stay in Hood River regularly we have wanted to to try this restaurant for a while and we were not disappointed at all. The food, service and atmosphere was top notch. I had the special of the day fresh Chinook Salmon delicious, and my husband had the Chicken Caesar Salad. Also we had the Shrimp and lobster cakes with a fantastic aioli sauce with a lovely bottle of Rose. Our server Sarah was very attentive, we will be back!
Everything was amazing. Bread and beet salad as a starter and both of us had the NY steak main. Will definitely return.
