Probably the best BBQ you will get on the island, with amazing scenery. I really enjoyed the brisket, turkey breast, red vinegary sauce, and the gravy with mashed potatoes.
The servers were very attentive and friendly. Made sure we were good on the refills and anything else we needed.
The atmosphere and seating is the cherry on top, with a breezy, outdoor view of the Hawaii Kai Marina.

This is a great location to eat some delicious BBQ. Timothy was awesome while taking care if me. The view was amazing. If you are in the area, it is a must try. Brisket fell apart and ribs were good. I will be back.

So happy they finally reopened, and in one of the best spots for marina dining in Hawaii Kai. Love their brisket, mac and cheese, and beans - that’s what I typically order. Sampled my friend’s Kalbi short ribs one day and they were OK but the brisket is better.
With new dining spots opening in this shopping center, parking can get packed but you can always find spots behind the Safeway. I prefer dining on the patio but be aware that the tables have slats, which may mean the condensation from your drink may drip on you if you don’t keep a napkin beneath your glass.
Right now it’s one of the top 3 best restaurants in Hawaii Kai imho.

Outstanding marina front dining!! So many fabulous choices, the Brisket Street Tacos were incredible, the smokey moist brisket was unbelievable! Also came with home made tortilla chips & salsa, a lot of tasty food for the money, with marina front outdoor seating nothing beats it! We also had the BBQ plate w/Brisket, baked beans & coleslaw, and a roll, perfect blend of flavors. We started w/onion rings, we will definitely be back Soon! Great atmosphere, good prices and friendly service, Mahalo Timmy!

The view from our patio table at sunset was stunning, right on the water as the boats went by. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. Highly recommend!!

This is the most delicious BBQ I’ve ever had. St. Louis ribs with baked beans from Hawaii Kai and Waikiki. Both places were excellent! Ribs are juicy, baked beans have the perfect amount of sweetness and the cole slaw was a delicious complement. I loved the sweet bread roll too! Thanks for making amazing bbq ribs in Hawaii!!!!

I had the Valentine's dinner for two.I loved it. The prime rib was served at the perfect temperature, medium rare. The sides: lobster mac n cheese, was velvety creamy and cheesy,deep fried corn on the cob had amazingly unique flavors of grilled BBQ. But save room for dessert.The banana pudding was made with real bananas, so good. The key lime pie was rich with fresh lime flavors, too.The ambiance here is like a sports bar feel, not romantic.I also ordered their homemade lemonade vodka cocktail with Titos! Yum! I recommend this place if you want to experience authentic Texas down home cooking in Honolulu.

The food was good! And I'm From Texas. This is a must try! 🙌 I promise you won't be disappointed. They offer a quick menu online to check it out. 😋the Ahi was amazing... everyone was satisfied at the end. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the day.

Amazing food, GREAT beer, GREAT service. Our waiters name is Bobby, fabulous personality, made the whole experience even better. The brisket melts in your mouth, and the prime rib is our of this world. Beans are so tasty.

So glad I tried this place!! My co-worker was raving about this place so of course I had to give it a go.... and everything was delicious just like she said!! And just like her, I found their Mac-n-cheese addicting!!! I am so full right now but I still want more of their Mac-n-cheese.... lol.... I recommend their brisket and pulled pork. Next time I really want to try their Chilli dawg. Yum!

Friday night my wife and I went out to dinner to TEX 808 BBQ + Brews Hawaii Kai. The food was really good and the amount was quite surprising. We had small wings as appetizer, and I had pulled pork sandwich and wife had the small briskets plate. We both ended up with almost half our meal as take out even though it was very good. Had buffalo wings and they had a smokey flavor also. But to top it off the service was great. We pulled up in our boat and one of the guys actually helped us tie up. Not expected at all but was quite nice. Seamed like they had plenty of staff to take care of everyone and the manager came around to all the tables to see how things were. Overall, it was just a really pleasant and surprising experience. Definitely recommended giving it a try.

We are vislting friends in Hawaii and TEX 808 BBQ is just down the road. We had drinks and appetizers.The service was great , that staff was very friendly. The menu was what you expect at a BBQ restaurant. They had a very nice drink menu.
