Bar Koko & Persian Restaurant - Honolulu - Photo album

I am Persian and tried this Persian-owned restaurant during the end of my visit in Honolulu. I was impressed by how great and authentic this Persian food was. My husband and I got hummus, dolmeh (grape leaves), and beef kabobs. Everything tasted delicious and the staff was so friendly. Sad that I di
We were traveling to Honolulu and had an amazing experience in KoKo restaurant. We tried Beef Kebab and chicken stew and both were phenomenal. The beef kebab was very juicy and well cooked. The chicken stew was very delicious and full of Persian flavors. It also has very calm vibe and the staff are
We ordered the cucumber dip, beef koobideh (kebab), gormeh sabzi (beef stew), and gheymeh (lentil stew). The food was all delicious and our server Miah was so nice and attentive. A lot of the negative reviews seem to be coming from people that aren’t familiar with Persian food, and it is an acquired
Great kabobs, good service, and happy to see a good Persian restaurant in Oahu. The chicken, kabob, and salads tasted great. Nice small restaurant so try and get a reservation before arriving as there isn't much seating inside.
Absolutely incredible experience. I have never had Persian food before, but came with my Iranian friend. He was impressed! The food was delicious, filling, fairly priced, and very good for you. I will definitely be a returning customer. I suggest the kebab combination plate and the cucumber dip. Hig
Delicious beef kabob with a side of rice and salad. Also had some of their naan bread which was so tasty. Worth the drive or walk out this walk and gives you a more intimate feel
Cute little spot. Have never dined in but definitely would. If you want something different to eat this is your spot. Love the beef and lamb shawarma!
Overall, well done so far. Just one suggestion, heat up the plates so the food arrives really hot, put the salad on a small seperate plate. The one dish they do great is the kebab as pictures show. I wish they had two people in service because you wait for long to get your order and things are misse
Ordered delivery from Uber Eats tonight, and it was delicious! Can’t wait to order again! Husband loved the beef kebab, and I loved the gyro, grape leaves, and cucumber dip! Awesome naan bread! Can’t wait to order again.
Yes it takes a little too long for the food, but it is well worth it. Flavors are genuinely fresh and fulfilling. The ambiance is cozy and all you really need is good company and a cold beer 😉
Great food and excellent service by Mr. Mahmood and his employees! We ordered eggplant stew (khoresht e bademjan) and beef kabob (koobideh). Both foods tasted very good. The salad dressing was yogurt based which made it healthy and delicious. We would never thought that I could find a Persian resta
TIP: Get there early and try the appetizers. The place fills up quickly and seating is limited. There is a paid parking lot behind the building that costs $4. The ambiance is cozy, Persian music is playing in the background and the food is delicious.
Place is a hole in a wall....paid parking 8n the back...but you can do street parking...dinning area is not that big...food is good but the price is up there....portions is not that much....but shawarma is good....
Amazing Mediterranean food! Can’t wait to come back! Will not be disappointed
The only Persian restaurant on the island! Owned by a very nice Persian family. Husband and wife chef owners. Authentic and delicious stews and meat. If you are craving Persian food, this is the spot!
