Old school okazuya. Was there early and a whole construction crew was picking up food for later in the day. Cash only. Parking in the front.
Wow a wonderful place to get your breakfast every morning. Have been going there for many years. Nice people working there. Very environment friendly food packaging. Open 4 days a week, due to elderly owner working there. From Tuesday to Friday, 4:30 am to 12 noon.
Got to support locally owned businesses. Show your support too by stopping by one day for your special breakfast venture.
Been coming here for years! This is one of my favorite places on this island. BEST chow fun (Japanese style), great Tamagoyaki, Egg plant is good (although I hate egg plant and I think it may be discontinued. Fried chicken is tasty. Their fish is delicious but be warned, its pricey. All in all they serve really tasty food at a okay price.
BEST PLACE TO EAT IN THE MORNING ! Such a mom and pop place ; they only open for a few hours a day , pretty much make what they feel like , and decide if they're gonna make more or not when they run out. Always loved coming here when we can catch them. Something about the simple stuff (hamburgers, hot dogs, rice and noodles (because that's all my kids would eat lol) just tastes a hundred times better than other places . Small cozy place, good food and if you want take out , they still just wrap everything in butcher paper and send you on your way. Definitely a lifetime favorite place. Wish they'd stay open 24/7 for those cravings .
Old school Okazuya (think delicatessen filled with a lot of different ethnic foods) located in Kalihi. Here they cook what they feel like making and its up to them if they want to make more if it runs out. But no worries everything tastes really good. I love that they still wrap the plates in butcher paper for take out orders.
Thomas and his family do a wonderful job.
Glad they made it through the pandemic.
GOOD FOOD...cheap for okazuya
My best place since my mom used to get me food for field trips. Bbq burger, chow fun ,fried chkn, egg fu yung, and fish. Sooo ono.
Places like this are slowly disappearing. I had their Teri-Hamburger Patty, Chow Fun, Tamago and Teri Fish (I think Saba). Everything was perfect.
I love this restaurant. I grew up eating there. Best Okazu ever. 5 Star venue.
First timing finding and trying. Hole in the wall Japanese Okazuya. Delicious. The Fried Chicken really suprised me!
