Great because I've been dying for a Rita's since I left the east coast but honestly their flavor selection is lacking and its kind of inconvenient just because you have to go into Tiki's to get to it. That being said a mango gelati might be my favorite frozen treat in the world so... 😍😍😍
The ice isn't the same as Hawaiian shave ice. It's quite a bit heavier. Unfortunately this location always seems limited on It's choice of flavors. However, their custard is smooth and creamy and never disappoints. If it's your first time try the gelati - it's a cup of their Italian ice with custard
I'm not going to lie, as excited as I was to try this place I was hesitant due to the location:
- located in Dole Cannery which I don't like to visit very often due to all the homeless who are right outside and their parking structure is a hassle
- located in Tiki's Family Fun Center which is loud
Wow! If you want frozen custard, this is were you need to be. I've never had frozen custard before and after one taste I fell in love with it. I prefer the vanilla over the chocolate. Very friendly staff at Dole cannery in Iwilei and the soft serve ice custard is one of a kind and tastes amazing. Come down and trying the Ice custard. They also bring back childhood memories with their Italian ice. Thanks guys.
