Nu'uanu Okazuya - Honolulu - Photo album

Tasty, but too expensive at $15.95 for a bunch of fish cakes, spicy fried chicken, butter melon, croquette, and mac salad (no rice). Sounds like a lot of food, but look at the photo! Before starting, I kept thinking I should’ve gone to L&L instead for some freshly prepared hot food. Turns out, fi
They renovated not so long ago. The space is even bigger and not overwhelming like the old space. The interior made me feel like home and very refreshing. The food is still as fresh and tasty ever since. Aunty gave me a fresh banana (so kind and friendly). One negative thing is the food kinda cold b
I live a few blocks away and pass a dozen restaurants on the way here. Not only is it cheaper than all of them, the food has never been short of amazing. Juiciest meat downtown. Staff is always quick, friendly, and helpful.

Walk by everyday and always see delicious food in the front display case and today I finally decided to stop in and give it a shot. It was a wise move on my part because the food was AMAZING. Whatever sauce they put on top of the fried chicken I had was soo ono! I will definitely be going back. The

I have always, always thought that Nuuanu Okazuya was too expensive. A friend told me that not only did they expand their store's square footage but that the prices were really reduced. I stopped one day on my home. I had a piece of fried chicen, a spam musubi, a kobu maki and an order of gobo. My b
Love the food, and the assorted options available. I have always found the staff to be friendly and easy to talk to. The restaurant was recently expanded, and the new dining area is warm and welcoming.
Good fried saimin and really yummy chicken katsu. The shoyu pork was pretty good and so was the kalua pork and cabbage. I wasn't a fan of the shoyu hot dog though. I did however enjoy the garlic string beans. This okazuya has a great atmosphere. Very cozy and homey. Nice place for a good breakfast a
