What an unexpected hidden gem. You definitely have to look for this one....but it's worth it. EVERYONE is welcome....as it should be. You owe it to yourself to make the trek down here to be with family and sing a few songs.

Stopped in here with a couple friends and had a great time after the other bars were pretty dead on a Sunday night. I think it’s a gay bar? But there were lots of girls there too and we didn’t have any issue or weird looks other that one guy saying “when did this turn into a straight bar”😂
Overall super fun time and reasonably price drinks, karaoke was fun too. Didn’t try any food. It’s small but that adds to the atmosphere.

This place will always hold a special place in my heart and hope to come back to it soon. We came here the 2nd night of our vacation and I fell in love. The voices that people had here were outstanding, so much talent. We met some locals and out of towners and both were extremely pleasant and welcoming. We had such a great time that after our quick wedding ceremony two days later we decided to come back for drinks and some singing. We got to see our new local friends again and once people realized it was our wedding night and we didn’t have “our first dance” they asked our song and next thing I knew my husband and I were dancing in the middle of floor with everyone surrounding us and signing “stand by you” it was such a special moment. Also, a patron videotaped it for us and sent to me. This is a great place to sing and not be judged, meet new people, and have a great time.

My absolute favorite bar in Honolulu... About the size of a bedroom in your house, it's close quarters for visiting. And it's difficult to find which is why it's a favorite. It's down a narrow alley and kind of hidden. Perfect... I'm not a karaoke singer, but love listening to others whether they're good or not. Karaoke is tops at the In Between. The staff is always fantastic, but the patrons keep me coming back. You can expect someone to chat you up within 2 minutes of entering there... It's even non-threatening for introverts. You feel welcomed without feeling exposed. It's LGTBQ+, but welcoming to all... I can spend an entire day here... and I have.

This place is AWESOME! It's very small but the bartenders and other customers are so welcoming, and the karaoke is a lot of fun ($1 per song anytime you want to sing!) Cedric, Derek, and Harlan took good care of us and were all super friendly. Can't recommend this place enough if you're into karaoke. Even if you don't want to sing, you'll still have a blast!

Wow!!! I loved it! Visiting from the USA on a Monday night, but such a diamond in the alley lol Derrick was a great bartender, fun, and down to Earth! It’s a small environment, but the vibe is welcoming and nonjudgmental. I loved it here great spot to go for karaoke

The Inbetween Karaoke bar has been around for the past twenty five years entertaining Hawaii and its visitors. Friendly Bartenders, fabulous atmosphere and enjoyable moments. This place has the worst customer service I have ever encountered and I’ve traveled the world. A friend asked for a glass of water as she was feeling nauseated and was told by the bar man “ not my problem, I don’t care” and refused a glass. Another friend in my party accidentally bumped the bar man as it was so crowded, he got all up in her face, yelling and screaming and spitting all over her. He then PUSHED my ting 58kg friend. My friend was extremely upset and reported what happened to the police. If you aren’t gay or a local do not bother going here.
