Sushiya - Honolulu - Photo album

I had been coming to Sushiya for years before the pandemic. I remember coming to this restaurant as an everyday patron. I've finally come back after some time and got to meet the new owners. They have renovated the place to look very cute and welcoming! The food is just as delicious as I remember an
I recently rediscovered Sushiya on Waialae Avenue and it's quickly become my go-to sushi spot in the neighborhood. This family-run gem exudes warmth and hospitality, making each visit a delightful experience. What I love about Sushiya is how convenient it is. There's always easy parking right out f
Tasty stuff! We grabbed some take out and had a picnic at the park across the street (no dine in from Covid). The house sauce is delicious!! No matter what you order, make sure to ask for a side of that sauce! I got some veggie rolls, my friend had a bowl with fresh ahi and vegetable tempura. His bo
This is now my favorite spot for sushi. Close to home and fresh. The little container of miso soup was perfect with my dragon rolls.
New owners within the past year, and the quality has drastically improved. I go for the dynamite roll and the spicy crunchy roll. The spicy crunchy roll has fried onions in it, which I never knew I needed in a roll until now-it’s so good! This is a grab and go restaurant, in and out kind of place-I
All their rice is sushi rice. They go the extra step for quality and the fish is fantastic. I love their avocado hand rolls too.
Please do not order the wasabi poke bowl unless you can handle massive amounts of wasabi. The poke was served cold and really fresh. Rice is delicious. Flavor and freshness were excellent. The bowl comes with some greens and masago. I wish it had more masago, especially since they charge 13$ per bow
I work in the area and eat here at least once a week for a couple of years now. I even drive over on the weekend sometime when I want some really good spicy ahi. I love their spicy ahi no matter what form, the salad, the donbori or the nigiri. Its the best of all the place I have eaten, nothing c
Renovated restaurant and new ownership! Sushi, poke and other foods are upgraded. Interior is completely new and nice! Plus, super clean. It’s BYOB with restroom inside! That’s HUGE bonus! It’s 5/5!
The menu is very good, my first time here, they take cash only
A new sushi place in Kaimuki. It is fully renovated so looks very modern and fresh now! All ingredients are so fresh and tasty 😋🐟 Also this place is BYOB and now open til 10pm 😆 Highly recommend!!
Love the small shop. Good sushi. Owners are very nice people. Go here a few times per month. Udon soup excellent!
Place is amazing and the staff is friendly. You get a good deal for the price you pay for the food. Please support your local businesses
Mom and Pop. I love the shrimp tempura and BLT rolls.
