Peoples’s Cafe - Honolulu - Photo album

Really good authentic Hawaiian food. The Lau Lau and Lomi Lomi were really good. I got the small Lau Lau plate with gravy on the side and my husband got the Lau Lau plate with soup, Lau Lau Lomi Lomi and dessert.ot of food.
Cozy atmosphere and quick service. My family and I had the Hawaiian Plate, which is our favorite. Last time my friend ordered Pork Guisantes, which she enjoyed. The menu has a wide variety of local favorites! (The Hawaiian plate includes haupia and lomi lomi salmon, but I ate it before I remembered
Haven't eaten there in over 20 years but their quality has not changed. Infact the Filipino menu items I believe is a new addition. Their portions are generous and prices are very fair for this day and age. Too bad they don't open for dinner because you goin get "kayak attack" after you pau eat. On
A classic local favorite with traditional Hawaiian and Filipino cuisine.
They make majority of their dishes in house and are fairly reasonably priced.
Great option for Hawaiian food if you're in the downtown area. The Filipino dishes are delicious as well. Been there several times in the last few weeks.
The Kalua Pork with cabbage is amazing here! One of our favorite spots to stop and many times while we're visiting the island
Just like home, but better quality. We split the Hawaiian plate and all the components were delicious! We will be back ❤️
The shrimp and ribs special is absolutely amazing. Tender and flavorful, and the rest of the dishes they have are amazing too. Tripe stew is good, and the portions are huge. Come here if you want some authentic kama'aina food.
the service is good. 👍🏼 and the food is good. but sometimes the food can be too salty. I guess it depends on who's making it that day 🤷🏻‍♀️ otherwise, the prices aren't too bad and I'm always full after I finish eating all my food. 😛 so, good portions too. 😀
Great local staple. I have been going here with my parents since I was a kid. It has Hawaiian and Filipino food and is managed by the nicest Aunties ever. This is a must stop by if you want Hawaiian Food.
Amazing local food. Eating at this restaurant is comfortable on every level. The atmosphere feels like eating at your Aunty's house, the food is so good and the bill is very reasonable. Kalua pig and cabbage is so ono. Also the best Pipikaula!
Great Hawaiian plates. Lomi Salmon, Squid Luau, Poi, and Haupia come standard. Oddly, it's becoming more and more difficult to find true Hawaiian food on Oahu. If you're in the neighborhood you have to stop in.
Combination plate Laulau and Kalua pig is real good. The Lava rock is also real good too. The only thing they missing is mac salad otherwise I would give the 5 star.
I personally love Peoples Hawaiian Food. Now that in live in town I go there at least twice a month. Authentic Hawaiian food, Kalua pig, laulau. Lomi salmon. Fresh poi
People's Cafe makes the best squid luau in my opinion. Lots of tender pieces of octopus and deliciously sweet and creamy. Just typing this is making me crave it. I guess I know what I'm having for dinner...
