Great savory local food at fair prices in bountiful portions. It’s no wonder why they’re still in business today! Mark still works there! Cheers-Hoo!!

You know what? Their food is actually really good for a Chinese takeout/plate lunch place. I prefer it better than L&Ls and even Chun Wah (quality vs. quantity). My go to dish is either the mapo tofu or cold ginger chicken. Although I want to try their salt and pepper shrimp and salt and pepper pork chops, I just keep going back to my norms. Oh, I do want to try their burgers too. For some reason I always think that these hole in the wall plate lunch places have really good greasy burgers. Enjoy this place while its still here, because these type of eateries are not going to stay around forever, even though I wish they do.

First things first, do not expect this place to provide anything new or fancy. They have standard hawaiian plate lunches to go along with some chinese dishes which are all pretty good, some are a lot better than others to be honest. That being said the thing that makes this great is the price. It's one if not the cheapest takeout place I've eaten at. $10.50 for their Chicken Katsu with BBQ Chicken is an absolute steal and they don't skimp out on the portions either. They have a pretty large menu so if you want something else then they probably have it. Most of their regular plates are $12.50 to $13 and their mini is about $9. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick and cheap bite.

a quick pick up for a good price. I've honestly only ordered mochiko chicken here, though one day I will explore more (maybe). I've also only taken food out, so I can't say much about the dining in experience, but it seems like what'd you'd experience at most local plate lunch places.

I got the Double Cheeseburger, fries and Mac Salad. I liked it. Burger is meat, cheese and bun only. Fries portion was very large.

Everything they make is fresh and delicious! Crispy Won ton and gau gee, yummy! Eggplant, katsu, noodles! Amazing! We eat here often! So tired of fast food! This hits the spot! We highly recommend!

Was looking for a quick bite. Didn't know I was going to be getting some of the best food I've had. Definitely a favorite place now.

My go to place for my noodle or gon lo mein fix aka PANSIT by them Filipino folks. I always ask for lesser vegetable just because I want more noodles in the mix 🤤. The couple who owns the place are so wonderful and nice.

That being said I really like the food here. I can get a mixed plate consisting of my favorite Chinese dishes made fresh (not like Panda Express where it is served from a warmer) like Eggplant with Pork and Cold Ginger Chicken. They also have several stalls in front of the restaurant reserved for their customers.

Good price with good size. Nice staff

Very good food. We ordered chow mein, sweet and sour chicken, and chop steak. All of which was good. However, service was a little slow, nothing major. Food portions was overwhelming, but the rice and Mac salad were below par.

When you are hungry and on a budget, this place is your best option when in the area. The special plate has chicken katsu and bbq chicken. Fills me up every time to curb the hunger! Not too taxing on the wallet either.

Excellent chicken katsu - fried to order! Prices also are very reasonable - starting with their $2.25 hamburgers (another quarter if you want cheese). Portions for the chicken katsu (regular size) and the special of chicken katsu and teri chicken were sizable, too.
Only downside is they only take cash, but so many places in Hawaii do this so it’s not a big surprise. An ATM is just across the way at the Jack in the Box, so it’s easy enough get the cash.
Great option for lunch or dinner if you’re taking your family skating at Ice Palace in the same shopping center!

Another Chinese run Hawaiian style restaurant. In this case it is a good thing. I've only tried two things but both are very good. They are the mochiko chicken and crispy gau gee. Both are very crisp and flavorful. Mochiko has a crunch to it and is tender. We usually get just the chicken and bring it to pot lucks. The same goes for th gau gee which has a good amount of meaty filling. Will have to try other items the next time we go there.
Please note this place is cash only.

Awesome. We stop in every time we come back to the islands. The staff is friendly.
