Just purchased.. (@ 8 Sept @ 1500)a machete and turkey avocado and bacon. And it was smackin!! . Guy working there at this time was very kind and patient.
I was craving a sandwich and it was on point. It’s the bread!!
I noticed big bags in the sandwich shop and baking tins and asked if they made their bread, yes they do. The bread already looks like it’s going to be delicious. Thick cuts of soft white bread. AND IT WAS!! Soft and delicious and fresh.
The guy who made the sandwich said I could purchase a loaf, I really am considering it.
It is what I like to call, a repeat buy!!

10/10 sandwich shop. If you’re looking for an “aesthetic” shop, this ain’t it. If you’re looking for a legitimate sando shop that checks all the boxes (delicious bread, good proportions, generous meat servings, friendly service), this is definitely the place

Ordered 10 sandwiches for our Whanau after being at the beach. Sandwiches were ready when we arrived. Lasted the trip back to our Resort and were fresh, tasty and reka (yum). Big Boys were stumped with The Machete!! Everyone loved the sandwiches they order

The sandwiches are Amazing! The bread they use is magic, like "hogwarts wizard is kept prisoner in the back to make their bread" magic! The Italian and roast beef are my favorite, but you can't go wrong with any of them.

After months of walking by this place I went in for the first time today. I got the “meanest”sandwich and it took me a while to eat this thing. It was so good. Love me a great sandwich. So happy that this right by my residence. I got the beef pastrami sandwich.

I ordered the machete, my son got the italian, and my daughter ordered the turkey bacon avocado, and my wife and other daughter had the turkey. The bread was baked in house. Amazing sandwiches all around!

Overall a decent sandwich place. The ingredients seem fresh and the sandwiches they make are tasty, big, and reasonably priced. Depending on the day, service can be on the slower side however.

Bro, I don’t think I’ve ever had a better sandwich. I saw it on Uber Eats and thought, “what the hell; let’s give it a shot. The reviews look good.”
I picked it up from the tiny shop outside Waikiki and the smell of bread was delicious. I got my sandwich and ate it at the beach. I got The Machete—turkey, pastrami, ham, salami and cheddar cheese on crack wheat bread. The bread is THICK and fresh. The fillings were also thick. I’m a guy that likes to eat a lot, and for $13.95 this was a deal. I’m so impressed that I will be back and tell all my friends about it. Mahalo.

Excellent bread (their white bread is actually baked with honey), excellent portions for sandwiches, excellent quality.
Be mindful of time though, as they do not keep a ton of supplies on hand, and they may not have the ingredients for your favorite if you come late (though tbh every sandwich I've tried is good so just pick another).
