Yagura Restaurant - Honolulu - Photo album

Good Food, fast attentive service. Portion size is good for reasonable prices. Old restaurant that has been there over 40 years, not much of the decor has changed since then. Good selection of dishes and many many combination plates available. They are known for their large portions of sukiyaki and
Amazing meal. The waitress was very kind and helpful. The food came out fast and took us longer to eat since there was so much of it. Definitely a hidden gem 10/10
Walked in randomly and was really good. The Katsu and BBQ chicken were all super tasty and the ahi was super fresh. Loved the Udon soup to super authentic. Cold Soba noodles were tasty too
Excellent Japanese restaurant. 4 stall parking lot with street parking is a little inconvenient, but well worth the effort. The food is reminiscent of the small neighborhood Japanese restaurants of the past. Homestyle comfort food. The broth for the udon is very good. A favorite is the Spicy Ah
This place is the old fashion family restaurant that I like to support. Very good food and calm place to eat Japanese dishes.
Haven't been to Yagura Restaurant in years until a friend said he is a frequent diner there. Wonderful dining service and portions were a generous for value. Will definitely return to try more items on menu.
I ordered the spicy ahi and it was delicious! This is a great place to go that has that older Japanese vibe. The hostess was so sweet and tried to get to our table as much as possible during a big dinner time rush
Authentic Japanese Food. Prices are reasonable. Food is good and tasty. Friendly staff
Food & service was excellent. Little pricey but well worth it. The bento deals are good if you:d looking for variety items to eat & price for bento not bad. Fed me & mom( but my mom eats very little ) Husband loved his Teishoku dinner special E. A lot of rice but even their rice is oishi desu
Went inside for the first time this past Friday to order take out. The staff were friendly with their recommendations since I needed a no meat option for Lent, and they offered me water or hot tea as I waited for my order to finish. I didn't expect the combination plate to come with so much food. I
This family run restaurant has amazing service. There are definitely regulars coming in and out for takeout that stopped by while I was eating. I got the yakenobe (seafood nabemono) for less than $20 pre-tax and tip, it comes with so much food that I definitely went home more than full (the black co
Great home style Japanese. Not for tourists.
Food and service were really good. BYOB with lunch even better. Parking sucks, with only 4 stalls plan ahead, Street parking available at $0.75/hour with 1 hour max. I had the shioyaki saba teishaku, didn’t stay on the plate very long. Very fresh and tasty. Well worth the parking issue to eat he
This took me right back to my days in Kyoto. The Misoyaki Butterfish with Tempura Shrimp and Vegetables is fantastic and the Chicken Katsu Curry are savory and perfectly seasoned. Going to make this a regular for us and you should really check this place out.
This place takes you back in time - nostalgic. They are very simple and polite. The food took me back in time, when my Grandparents would cook. That old Japanese cooking; so Oishi! 👍 I would recommend this place to anyone. One thing to note, there us only 4 parking stalls. 😮
Tasty mac salad, Service very friendly. BE SURE TO LEAVE CASH TIP IF USING CREDIT CARD. They do not add written in tip amount on credit card receipt. You will feel terrible if you left without tipping, especially if you wrote in a big tip for excellent service.
Scored one of their few parking spaces in the front of the building. Interior is dated but I enjoyed my curry with fried oysters. Thoroughly yummy!
Aways a good place for a "home-cooked" meal. Lots of combo options; we had our favorite chx katsu and kake udon, teri beef don and udon. When we pass the restaurant on Liliha and see a parking stall open (only 4 stalls) we are in!
Debbie K. Yagura Restaurant onolicious Japanese food. Big portions. I like the different Donbori. The Nabeyaki Udon good too. Everything is hot when it comes to the table. Friendly waitress. Good service. Only thing parking limited.
