Nice little spot to get books, grab a drink, or both. Pretty standard Barnes & Noble store, they have activities their throughout the week like reading time for kids. The staff are also very friendly and knowledgeable so that's a plus. They keep the place clean and organized.
The staff is fun and I like the sandwiches. Its a little pricey but that's everything now. It relaxing to buy a book or magazine and have a soup and sandwich and just sit for a while.
These used to be everywhere, but this is the last one in Hawaii. Excellent place not just to buy books but all sorts of toys and games. Helpful staff and a great place to take a curious young reader because of the selection
The last of the giant retail bookstores on island. My favorite Starbucks is here. They don't take Starbucks gift cards and don't have all the specialty drinks... but they do have all the best cookies and desserts.
I love talking to their staff. I bought several books based on their recommendations and they are all so great and they were not something I would pick by myself.
Also, great selection / promotion on local authors. I love to support local bookstores but they often close early. This one is open
This location is MASSIVE with tons of selection! I wouldn't be surprised that even if they don't happen to have what you're looking for they're able to get it in for you. My husband and I spent maybe two hours in here and could've spent way more! The employees were friendly as well.
Great selection of books, friendly atmosphere, attentive and knowledgeable staff, and just overall a great place to shop and to get lost in a book.
This Barnes and Noble is on the bottom level (car park level) of Ala Moana. It can be hard to locate using Google Maps or the Store Directory, so best to ask for directions if you can find something to help. It is a very large store and there is a Starbucks inside.

Wide selection of books of all genres, it also has lgbtpq+ books and they’re not hidden away either. The staff is very helpful, always happy to go through the trouble of looking for 5-10 minutes for just one book for customers.
