Loved the fried sweet potatoes, egg plant, chicken dumplings, edamame, garlic chicken, pork ribs, and garlic shrimp. I added the whole menu for anyone interested
The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice, comfortable feeling. The food is great. Lots of small appitizers to choose from and solid choices for the main course. Service is good and food comes out in a timely manner. My go to choice is garlic chicken cake noodle.
Decent place for Chinese food. Good snack sized portions for $3.50/plate. Parking was very hard to find though.
Nice clean restaurant with friendly staff. Ordered the Stir Fry Black Bean Sauce with shrimp, it was a good size and delicious. My husband got the pick two with fried rice, he said it was good too. My three year old helped herself to both our plates and was happy. Food was fast, hot, and tasty.
Very good food. Reasonable and tasty small plates. The fried dishes were done just right - crunchy but not overly fried. I recommend the calamari which includes more fish than batter. Staff was friendly on both visits.

The food here is clean, fresh and light by comparison to many other Chinese restaurants, but this is one of those awesome hole in the wall places that does not have ample parking. And I fear that by telling anyone how wonderful and CLEAN this Chinese restaurant is, that I will find my own self waiting in line or without even a place to park my motorcycle.
They have many of the typical dishes, but what is really cool is their tasting menu. For a significant sampling, you pay just a small price. It's like they made everything fun size with a fun price. They also have burgers and they have an assortment of exotic iced teas. The li hing mui one is my favorite. And the broth in their Chicken Dumpling Noodle Soup is the best I've ever had. It has a strong ginger flavor so you need to enjoy ginger or else try something different.
And most of all, the employees here are ALWAYS POLITE. I have been to other Chinese restaurants where my tiny plastic, gross water cup had been dry for 20 minutes, the MSG is making me nauseous, and I've asked for water many times only to be barked at, "I'm busy you know!" You will never be treated rudely here.
This place is off the beaten path. I actually found it as a referral online. Parking is difficult, but the food is worth it. Delicious, well priced food.
Excellent service. My water glass was never empty. I enjoy supporting small, local business.

I cannot say enough about this place. As you can see, I checked into Sweet Home Glad a ton of times. Everyone I brought here (yes even my dad, the one who has discerning taste buds) loves the food, atmosphere, and service. Did I also say that this place is very reasonable in price?!?!?! Yes it is very unusual to have it all, but this place... Wait, I do have to say that parking can be a bit of a hassle at times if there is no parking in the back. There is a small driveway that takes you to an apartment. There you can park in the yellow stalls or on the street right in front. After 6pm its free parking or before you have to pay the parking meter.
This place has a twist of local and Chinese plate lunch and pupus. The food is light and fresh tasting. FYI they do NOT use msg. Eating at different places and cooking, you can tell if the place uses fresh oil in their fried foods as well in the freshness of the veggies and food.
So far my favorites are shrimp fried rice, steamed fish fillet, cold ginger chicken, beef broccoli and yes of course the soft shell crab and their steak. All YUMMY!!!

They have a good range of choices and are decently priced. Their cake noodles are top 3 favorite on Oahu. If you like a nice crunch with a but of chew and not drowning in sauce, this is a good bet.

Good food and you almost can’t believe it is that cheap. The ginger chicken, steamed fish, and garlic shrimp, crispy pork are highly recommended. Stir fry is ordinary Cantonese style.
